I was specifically looking for a Peruvian restaurant, but this place didn’t really deliver an authentic Peruvian experience. It felt more like a Mexican restaurant attempting to offer a few Peruvian dishes.
We ordered the family-size jalea mixta de mariscos, and it was disappointing. The dish was mostly deep-fried yuca with only a small amount of seafood, which was over-fried and dry. Overall, the food was just so-so and didn’t meet expectations for traditional Peruvian cuisine.
