I’ve had many great experiences beforehand with this restaurant from the all their other locations for years. This includes the one on Union, Rosedale, and even the one that closed down located inside the Town and Country village shopping center. I usually order the habanero tacos which the tortilla of the taco has always come crunchy. Crunchy to the point that the tacos can stand their own on the plate. I received my order and the tacos were pretty soggy. I went ahead and let the waitress know that these tacos are usually more crunchier. She proceeded to take them back to the cook and an additional 10 minutes later she sent another worker to bring us out our food. To my surprise the tacos were the exact same. The waiter was trying to play more into the fantasy that the tacos had been put back on the grill and that the plate was hot. He came serving us one of the plates with a restaurant plate mitt and the other without disproving the point that the plates were not hot when we had been told otherwise. To my even bigger surprise AGAIN the plate was indeed not hot and the tacos were the exact same. I feel as those additional 10 minutes were waited in vain as my order did not change. The restaurant was obviously not busy so I am also unaware on why it took 10 minutes.

I’ve been told many things over the years and oh boy the food here is terrible. I ordered a Mex-Burrito and boy the burrito was dry, the internals were dry like th chicken it was a sloppy burrito. I couldn’t finish it honestly despite I was hungry and away from my home at the time with my son. He enjoyed his food for lunch but me no I will never eat at this place again. Taco bell is better than this IMO I never had a problem with them and that’s saying something. This place is last resort when it comes to Mexican food. The quality needs to improve i am sure I am not the only one that has said this about the quality of the food.

My husband got nacho fries with carnitas meat. The fries were so depressing to look it . Just look at the picture. I don’t even have to explain it. The carnitas just look at it DRY , it’s like if they had an old piece there that they just decided to microwave. That dish was DEPRESSING.
My birria tacos were mediocre, after waiting over 20+ for our food I can tell my tacos were sitting there because they were soggy .
And my kids just regular taco plate with rice and beans that plate is dumb proof.
I’m so disappointed considering I spent nearly $50 for disappointing food.
Those nacho fries, I just can’t it’s embarrassing to even serve that plate. When I asked for more cheese because CLEARLY you can see it’s missing a whole lot of everything the lady even looked baffled I asked for more cheese…. ( mind you I only said no tomatoes or salsa )

Love this place, I’ve been coming here since I was younger & now we bring our kids when we are in town. The staff is so friendly. They remember you and make you feel welcomed. Food is flavorful & colorful. Very appetizing. Very clean and spacious. Service is fast & friendly. A must try if you’re in Bakersfield try the steak fajitas or the chicken taquito meal

Called ahead for lunch. It was ready on time. Food was packaged and hot. They give us an Enchilada instead of the Tamale we odered. Bag check in the car and no Tamale, so give us the missing Tamale and we were able to keep the Enchilada.

Went through the drive thru. Husband ordered a chicken taco salad and a two item combo dinner wirh 1 ground beef enchilada and 1 cheese enchilada. The employee asked what type of meat and he said, 1 beef, 1 cheese. We pulled forward, then went home. The taco salad had ground beef on it and no chips in the salad and the salad was just a soggy greasy mess. The enchiladas were not what we ordered either. No cheese enchilada and the meat was what seemed to be pork. This is the second time in two months we have been here and our order was incorrect. This was the exact same issue we had several years ago with this place and is the reason why we stopped eating here. The salad was disgusting and went straight to the trash bin after a couple of bites. The combo was edible, not great, but a disappointment as it was not what my husband ordered.
Take note: Work on listening to your customers when they order, repeat the order back to your customer. Repeat the order again when your customer gets to the window. Double check.your bags before you hand it off to the customer and make sure the order is correct.
No more chances, we won’t be going back.

The thing about Los Hermanos is you’ll never be disappointed! The food is consistently authentic and delicious. I love their intense cheesy birra and fried crunchy tacos, and juicy and flavorful and bIG smothered burritos. The service is always amazing and top-notch . Sometimes it takes a while for the food to get out to you …but it’s worth the wait!

I used to come here every day for lunch! they unfortunately got new management or something and stated changing recipes. the cheese they get now totally changes the flavor of their dishes. very sad & haven’t returned since.
