The atmosphere was very friendly. The service was outstanding management was truly pleasant and the food was extremely delicious. I never care for any restaurants French toast and yet this restaurant Batter and Berries won me over with the French toast. I am so happy that my sister in Christ brought me here. I definitely recommend this Batter & Berries to dine.

I prefer this location over the other Chicago locations. The food was AMAZING. Customer service was great as well. The wide variety of drinks was the best part and the caramel French toast. I will say that all locations do have great servers.

Sunday brunch at Batters & Berries in Olympia Fields hit the spot. The atmosphere felt relaxed but still carried that signature buzz the brand is known for. We had a party of four, and everyone walked away satisfied.

I ordered the catfish with hashbrowns and eggs, and it was the highlight of my visit. The catfish was perfectly fried—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside, with seasoning that didn’t overpower the fish. You could tell it came out the fryer at the right time, hot and fresh. The eggs were simple but cooked just right, not too firm or runny. Sometimes it’s the basics that make the difference, and they nailed it.

The hashbrowns were a clear staple. Crispy edges, soft center, and plenty of flavor without being oily. You can tell they take pride in something as small as potatoes, which says a lot about their kitchen.

Service was solid throughout. One of our guests didn’t get her a la carte hashbrowns, but the server handled it quickly and removed them from the bill. Small mix-up, no attitude, and that goes a long way.

We also noticed the shorter wait time compared to the city location. We were seated quickly, served fast, and still got food that tasted freshly made.

Overall: 8/10. The Olympia Fields location keeps the same quality as the original with a smoother experience. The catfish alone makes it worth the trip.

Their breakfasts are so darn yummy! The caramel French toast was the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere.
Our server was a delight and the bathroom is very cool.
Now if they could just turn that music down I’d be thrilled!

Absolutely loved this brunch experience in the suburbs of Chicago. Reservations aren’t accepted however the wait was about 30minutes for a party of 7. My party was running a lil late and I decided to sit at the bar and have a brunch bowl. The bartender/server was engaged and also knew the name of party that I was waiting to be seated for. So this place communicates amongst each other to make sure their guests are accommodated.
I really didn’t get to look over the menu because everything the waitress said as daily specials sounded so delicious. I got the lamb chop breakfast which was a special that came with cheesy potatoes and eggs. I even got a side of wild berry French toast.

Out celebrating my cousins birthday today. We had breakfast. We all ordered something different. The French Toast Platter was delicious! The Bomb! Excellent customer service. Veggie Omelette was average. The atmosphere was everything! House Music playing in the background baby! The only problem that I have is this. My bill for two was $68.47. Ok no problem. I paid it. I gave the waitress a $20 cash tip. But when I get home and check my email, I was charged a total of $84.23. The waitress added an additional $15.76 tip without my knowledge. This is Bad business! Baby make sure you check your receipt thoroughly. I enjoyed the visit and celebrating with my cousin, but this rubbed me the wrong way. This is unacceptable. Batters and Berries owner correct this issue if you want your business to continue to thrive. A valued and influential customer. This is a Get it in Exclusive!!!

I wholeheartedly recommend Batter and Berries. Marcia was our waitress and her customer service is absolutely amazing. She is phenomenal. The hostess at the front was very welcoming and kind. I’d been wanting to try it for a long time and it was definitely worth the wait. The blueberry french toast, eggs, and cheese hash browns were delicious. I will definitely return. Thank you all for an outstanding first time experience!!

I’m in the mood for breakfast stop by here. I looked over the menu and went with the Strawberry French Toast. These were decent you get four covered in strawberries and light covered in powdered sugar. What took these to another level was the butter thou…it was kinda had this cinnamon-type flavor ion know just was addictive. But overall the french toast was decent still 8.4. Customer service was cool but kinda slow as there was much traffic in the place. Overall the spot was decent hate to see it when it’s busy 8.2.

Friendly, enthusiastic staff. Perfect recommendations. The interior could use a little sprucing up. But overall delicious, phenomenal experience.

We went for a nice Sunday morning breakfast, not a rave or club experience. The music was so loud that we could hardly hear each other speak. The food was overpriced and mediocre at best though very good portions. It was a sort of a long wait for our food to come out and mine was cold. Didn’t send it back because didn’t want to wait even longer. The fried chicken was way over seasoned. All you could taste was sage. The hash browns were cold, hard, dry, and tasted like they had been recooked or heated in a microwave. First time there, and likely the last. Maybe our expectations were set too high going in. I must say, the French toast was quite delicious. We tried the flight. The staff were very nice as well.
