Would you spend $15 for the chicken tenders that look like this, a tray of frozen, unseasoned fries and one small sauce cup? Pictured is the $15 chicken tender special from U-Chicken, a food truck at The Yard Food Park.
Throughout the five years of visiting The Yard, we had never had a disappointing meal—until now. The chicken strips were unexpectedly thin and lacked flavor. The fries were unsalted. The fact I had to inquire about dipping sauces should have been a red flag that this wasn’t going to be a good experience, but I gave this spot the benefit of the doubt.
We still ate our two orders because we were hungry. In an attempt to inform the food truck about our disappointing experience, I tried to speak to the worker at the food truck before leaving. The worker was absent and the food truck was left unattended.
I dislike leaving negative reviews for local businesses, but for something as egregious as this something needs to be said.

i got the soy garlic, korean spicy, and honey bourbon.
I love the soy garlic and honey bourbon the best. The garlic tastes so fresh and rich whilst the honey bourbon is just the perfect combination.

The food was good, great wings. We got Mango Habanero and the Spicy Korean, which were my favorites. Altogether a good experience. Lupe was absolutely amazing and had great recommendations
