Smokehouse Grill by Fixx in Selinsgrove is always a win. We ordered the fish tacos this time, and they were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. Definitely a go-to order!
It’s an order-at-the-window setup, and you can grab a seat inside Axemann Brewing, which makes for such a fun and laid-back experience. The vibes are always great — super relaxed, social, and perfect for hanging out.
Such a wonderful contribution to Market Street. Love having this spot in town!

Interesting experience as the restaurant and the bar are kind of separate. You have to order from each one separately. The food was great and the waitress awesome. I especially love the smoked salmon, the brisket and the balsamic asparagus. The espresso martini was on point

I ordered off door dash. The food arrived hot. That was the only upside. The mac and cheese bowl with pulled pork was so bland and flavorless. As was the chilli. I had high expectations of this place. Theres no way you can compete with Sothren BBQ, Kaes Smokey Bites and Red Line BBQ.
If you change up your flavor profile, Id give it a try again but as it stands now I couldnt eat here again.

The local cider and whiskey were delicious. You order your food on an app or at the food window, but it was delicious BBQ, although a bit pricey.
Our waitress was fantastic – so friendly and helpful ad we were just passing through the area.

Overall not a big fan, I’ll plan to try them again in a year or so since it’s a new business to see what has improved!
Pros:
-Axeman Tavern (separate business) has very friendly staff who helped you figure out how to order from Smokehouse Fixx.
-Ordering process was easy and food came quick.
-Cole slaw was good.
-Bathroom was clean.
Cons:
-Overpriced for the quantity/quality of food. We ordered the shareable meal for two, which is pictured on this review. That and two waters cost $45. We left hungry, and the food wasn’t good enough to order more.
-Pretty bland/non memorable BBQ. Even the horseradish sauce was bland. Cornbread was super dry.
-You get your own food at a pickup window, which is fine but they don’t offer paper plates, so we had to eat out of ripped up to go containers.
-They are family friendly but don’t have a diaper changing station in the large bathroom

Finally! We finally found the BBQ joint that usurps all places we tried on our 4000 km motorbike ride. Had the worst BBQ at Martins in Nashville. These guys BLOW them away. Delicious brisket and pulled pork. Juicy sausage, crisp asparagus and yummy beans. Ambiance great on outdoor patio with a great selection of cocktails and beer. Finally! Great job guys. Totally recommended. Cheers

No one in my party was impressed with the food. It’s a little pricey (by Selinsgrove standards at least), and nothing we tried (a burger, the pulled pork sandwich, a chicken sandwich, and the tacos) felt like it was worth the price. All of us felt like we could either find a cheaper & better alternative at a different local restaurant or make the food better at home.
The Axemann Tavern had excellent service – they had a worker coming around to take our drink orders and make sure we were happy with everything – but the lack of waitstaff for the Smokehouse made ordering food annoying, and we waited on the food just a bit longer than we’d expected.
The patio seats are great though, no complaints about atmosphere. Would only recommend this location for the drinks from Axemann Tavern.

Fantastic food and the sweetest ladies cooking it. We had the brisket and the smoked salmon. Both were exceptional and a must try. The Jalapeno cornbread as the best I’ve ever had! The street corn and smokehouse carrots are absolutely delicious. Definitely a must try. We will be back for sure!!
