We stayed at the Bluff House Inn so there isn’t many places to eat. One night we ordered the haddock chowder, seafood chowder and mozzarella sticks. None of the chowders were good…. I highly recommend you getting the chowder from somewhere else. It was watery and not really flavorful. Coming from Georgia and I was very disappointed… we gave it another shot here because there aren’t many places to eat (especially in the off season) and they redeemed themselves. We got their captains platter for 2 and it was so delicious. Definitely worth it. I recommend getting their fried seafood. Stay away from the chowders especially for $15 a piece.
Service was good & friendly.

The Clam Chowder was a bit starchy, so it thinned out as soon as it got cold. I’ve had better.
The Onion Rings, however, the best I’ve had so far as they were made from scratch with just the right cut size for maximum sweetness and crunchy combo – perfect
It’s a lovely little place.

This local seafood spot was recommended by our host and a regular there told us we wouldn’t be able to beat the value. Boy was he right. The crab roll was my favorite but we all had to share the last one available. The lobster rolls were also good but lacked flavor. I preferred the traditional cold style over the warm butter version. We did indeed find out that the same food is twice the price elsewhere. So while I want to try all the eateries everywhere this was a good spot to start with. Our server was new and struggled quite a bit but was very helpful. All in all a good intro to coastal Maine cuisine.

10/10 food. We did a pickup order and everything was super fresh and delicious! The haddock bites and shrimp were the stars of the show for us. I really appreciate the fair pricing as well.

Fresh, Flavorful, FANTASTIC !!! My sisters and I stopped in for lunch on our way to Quoddy State Park and we’re already planning on stopping in for dinner on our way back…2 lobsters, fried pickles, and lobster rolls (the BEST I’ve ever had). Remember to save room for the warm, homemade, blueberry pie. Family owned, super friendly, excellent service!!!

We have stopped three times this summer with no issues that others have claimed. It’s not fancy, just great fresh seafood, and portions are filling. Prices are just what they are nowadays. If you don’t like the road noise, then sit inside. The lobster roll was toasted, with hot butter. Tender meat was not tough, and the whole belly clams and scallops were fried just right.

Great prices, wonderful service, and delicious food! The portions were very generous. I could barely finish my combination dinner of clams and haddock which was sooo good – fried but not overly breaded. Highly recommend the clam chowder and blueberry lemonade.

I have been traveling around Maine & so far these have been the best lobster rolls for the price! The price was reduced to $15 per roll, and were full of lobster and delicious. We also tried the crab roll and the scallop roll which were both delicious. This spot is definitely worth coming to!

We visited Schoodic Woods Campground in Acadia and it was my first time in Maine so I wanted to try the much spoken of “Lobster Roll”. I got the 2 lobster rolls for $24, warm with butter which came with chips. My wife got the Cheeseburger ($8) and a small onion rings ($4). We enjoyed our food and would come again. Had she known the onion rings were going to be so stringy, she wouldn’t have ordered them. All in all, it was a great experience.
