This ex-BP gas station took like a year to build the kitchen inside for this Chester’s chicken joint, and Chester’s opened up for like a month this summer and then was abruptly abandoned, I walked in and everything in the kitchen of Chester’s was gone, yet the signs are still on the windows for poppas pizza and the chicken. Why weren’t the signs taken away when the owners or whatever decided to clear the kitchen and abandon this joint? I ate here twice and it was really good besides the breasts were rubbery and gross, idk what ever happened but what a waste of money now that Chester’s abandoned this place after it took over a year to build the kitchen for them inside the gas station hut.

Need more employees. Cant serve food if you’re taking 15min bathroom breaks. You had an opportunity to get a good review, however if you’re too busy twiddling your thumbs on the toilet, to serve food then one star is what you deserve. Darn it!!! I was really looking forward to trying this too.
Second point…. Maybe not advertise you’re on the toilet might be a bit more tasteful. The idea of someone coming out of the bathroom to serve me food kinda ruins the appetite.

First time trying Chesters fried chicken. This location is inside a gas station and also serves pizza. Ordered a 4 piece of dark meat chicken. The ordering experience was not good and the cashier was still in need of training. Once home, I opened the chicken and it looked and smelled pretty good. Unfortunately, there was an off flavor after the first bite. I took a single bite of another piece to verify, and it also had a strange flavor. Im guessing it was the oil they use to fry, but it could have been the chicken, breading or seasoning. It left a really bad aftertaste and actually made my lemonade taste funny. Ended up throwing it away. Do not recommend.
