We had a party of 30 people who showed up over a 20 min time period. The person at the cash register was fantastic. The food was as expected for a Golden Corral buffet. The woman caring for our tables worked hard to make sure out plates were picked up and our drinks were full.

Golden Corral has always been a special place for me, ever since my Grandpa took me there every Saturday growing up in New Mexico.(back in the early 90s) Now living in Alabama, I was heartbroken when my local Golden Corral closed yeaaars ago. So, on a recent road trip to Columbia, I was beyond excited to stop at the Augusta, Georgia, location—and let me tell you, it exceeded all my expectations!
This location has the biggest food selection I’ve ever seen at a Golden Corral. The yeast rolls, my absolute favorite, were perfection, but they didn’t stop there. They had regular biscuits, butter biscuits, and even cheddar bay biscuits like the ones from Red Lobster. It was biscuit and roll heaven!
Since it was Christmas season, they also had their holiday menu out, and everything was incredible. The stuffing, yams, turkey, and ham were all cooked to perfection. Honestly, everything I tried was amazing.
The only downside was how crowded it was. The tables are very close together, so it’s a little hard to sit comfortably when you’re back-to-back with other guests. But with food this good, it was totally worth it.
If you’re ever near Augusta, you have to stop by this Golden Corral!

They have great food. The waitress we had today was wonderful our glasses never got below half full, also she was the 1st waitress there that got my refill without ice! I REALLY WISH THAT Y’ALL WOULD GET MINI ORANGE SLICES BACK, They were my favorite I really really miss y’all’s Mini Orange Slices. I really wish I knew where I could get the Mini Orange Slices.

❗️⚠️DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AT ALL⚠️❗️By far the worst experience I have EVER had at a restaurant. The dinning area smelled like the inside of a porter potty. I had a hair in my food. My son had a eye lash in his. None of the food was hot besides the mashed potatoes. We paid $48 for 2 buffets & 2 large drinks. I was told that the price went up last month. I think it instead of raising the prices they should figure out the terrible smell in the air ,and learn some sanitation skills. We had to leave to go somewhere else to get something edible. I went back ,and spoke to a manager about our experience who contacted the owner Joe who instructed her to give us a gift card so we could come back to eat at the porta potty establishment EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Our family has not been to a Golden Corral location in years. This location food selection and taste was on point. I mean everything was tasty, well seasoned and well done. I had no complaints about the overall experience. Eventhough there was a sign on the door that stated. Ac was broken. They had fans and we really didn’t feel much of a difference. I finally now realize why ths location always has a line. They out here serving tasty food.

Both pieces of steak I tried were mostly tendon with very little edible meat. The fried okra was soggy and undercooked. I settled for a salad figuring they couldn’t mess that up. I was wrong. Firstly I went through about 8 salad bowls from the salad bar trying to find a clean one without stuck on food. I gave up and grabbed a plate from the buffet line. Made it down the line to throw some onion on the salad for the topper and found that it had the tough root ends they had left and sliced into the edible part of the onions. The service was ok though. Yes, they seemed proud of this unpleasant experience and served it with a smile.

Hey this is a buffet, they had a great selection of food to include fried shrimp, roast beef, pot roast, roast pork, a variety of vegetables, many different types of salad,
I felt it was very clean and the waitresses cleaned off the tables right away. I left a small tip for the waitresses probably should have left more. One thing I would recommend is that I thought that the fountain drinks at three bucks a pop or a little bit expensive so I just used water. But I went here I got a lot of food which was quality fresh and tasty. I highly recommend!
