I cannot possible recommend Palazzo Di Pizza enough. This to me is the absolute best of the best when it comes to Detroit style pizza. They nail every element; the sauce, the dough, the crispy edges, it’s all executed as well as it possibly can be. We love their classic cheese or pepperoni pizza but so many of their specialty pizzas are not to be missed either. A special shoutout to the Nashville Hot Chicken and anything involving the pesto. This is not to mention the gelato, which is worth a visit on its own! Everybody who works there is always so cool and easy to deal with, Rob and the whole crew care so much about the quality of the pizza and the entire experience. Pro tip – schedule your order online ahead of time to make sure you’re not waiting too long for your meal because they are always slammed. And once you try the pizza you’ll understand why that is!

A $10 pizza tastes better than this $30 pizza. This viral pizza was EXTREMELY bland even with the addition of red pepper flakes and hot honey. The other reviews about lack of flavor are true. I only gave it 3 stars because it was great when I reheated it according to the instructions on the box. Once reheated it still didn’t taste like a $30 pizza but it was flavorful. Service was great, friendly over the phone and in person. Cute small shop atmosphere with tasty gelato. I could’ve spent $50 elsewhere for pizza, breadsticks & gelato. But, if I were to return it would be for the authentic gelato.

I’ve been meaning to come here for a while and I’m so glad I finally did. After one visit, this is officially an old reliable when we’re craving pizza. I had a small with sausage, mushroom, and banana peppers—so good. My wife ordered the gluten-free and loved it too. Big flavor, fluffy yet crispy crust, and everything tasted fresh. We’ll be back.

I got the Hot Honey Ricotta-Roni, the bread sticks and the Lemon Crème Pie gelato and everything was delicious! The pizza had so much flavor, the crust was crunchy and the sauce was really flavorful. The bread was light but has lots of buttery parmigiana flavor. And the gelato is creamy and the lemon is bright and refreshing. I will absolutely be trying other items from their menu!

First time trying palazzo, heard many good things about this place. Maybe it was a one-off fluke, but the Bad Brads Brisket collab pizza was very underwhelming. Cheese was overdone, there wasn’t any cheese pull on any of the 4 slices. This 4-square pizza costs $20 before tax. Considering the hefty price tag for four slices, I expected much better. Brisket was unevenly distributed. sauces carried the flavor. Crust wasn’t crisp on bottom after a short drive home. Dough had a very bland profile, no character. I’ve made better Detroit style pizzas in my cast iron skillet at home. Confused how this place gets so much business, perhaps I ordered the wrong thing on the menu. To be overcharged for some overhyped mid-tier pizza is not uncommon, unfortunately. Louis @ 9 & dequindre is leaps & bounds better. Jet’s even can hold its own against Pizza Di Palazzo. One Bite everyone knows the rules? 7.9 is audacious. Maybe on a perfectly prepared pie, definitely not what I received. Score: 5.2 out of 10.

Thank you Palazzo Di Pizza for a mid-tier experience.

I must say that it is BUSY even if you ordered minutes after it opened, but I cannot give a lower rating just because of the wait time, since it truly was worth it. The pizza is delicious and is incredibly flavorful. You can smell the fabulous aroma in their shop. Their gelato also looks good; however, I haven’t tried them yet, perhaps next time. A must try!

I tried the viral hot honey ricotta pizza from Palazzo Di Pizza. The ricotta was bland and really didn’t add anything to the flavor. The hot honey was unique, very honey forward with a strong spicy kick, but overall the combo just didn’t wow me. On the positive side, the pizza was cooked perfectly with a great crust. Next time I’d stick with a regular pepperoni.

Really good carry out only for Detroit Style Pizza. My online order had a 1.5 hour wait time, they are always super busy! Pizza was fresh and wasn’t super greasy like Jets. They also serve really good gelato.

I’ve had a lot of pizza around the country and world. Ive never liked Detroit style pizza before, despite being a local, until Palazzo. Light and airy bread that doesn’t weigh you down, fresh ingredients, very balanced slice. Cannot recommend higher

Palazzo di Pizza has a big reputation as one of the best pizza spots, so I went in with high expectations. I tried the Hot Honey Ricotta, which was $28. The pizza itself was good, the dough was soft and had a nice texture, and the flavors came together well. Honestly though, it reminded me a lot of pizza from Jet’s or Green Lantern, just dressed up a bit more.

For the price, I’d rate it a 7.5/10, it’s tasty, but doesn’t quite feel worth almost thirty bucks. If price isn’t a factor, I’d bump it to an 8/10. Overall, solid pizza, but definitely overhyped compared to what you’d expect from all the buzz around it. Be sure to order before they open online secure your order, as they get very busy and sell out fast.
