I just want to say thank you all so much for helping me celebrate my Birthday! I’ve never been to Cedar Rapids and was staying at a hotel nearby to go see the Nutcracker for my Birthday and wanted something for lunch before hand and saw this Beautiful place. I really appreciate how kind and patient my servers were with me as I couldn’t decide what to get but we’re very helpful. The food was very good I ended up getting a dinner even though some of the hibachi looked like a kids meal like the shrimp and some other ones I still enjoyed it and would def come back. I didn’t expect them to sing me happy birthday and gift me with ice cream and one of their Beautiful water cups! Thank you all so much! Best Birthday Ever!

We stopped by here and did the AYCE and was pleasantly surprised. The service was awesome, quick and fast. The food was also quick, hot and fresh. It was an amazing experience. The food was great, although there are a few dishes that I think were just minimally better at other places. But because of the awesome service, food and all the things this was a great experience. Would totally be back. They never let water run out, they went above and beyond.

This place was frigging awesome! All you can eat. But don’t be a person who ordered more than you can eat! The service was great the food was amazing and filling. Drinks were good as well!

Went on a date night with my fiance and honestly wish we would have stayed home. The restaurant has a weird smell when you walk in that smells like a smelly fish market. I was not impressed with the food. The sushi was unappealing and didn’t feel fresh somehow. We didn’t finish our sushi because we didn’t like one of the three rolls we got plus half of another we stopped eating. Then we come to find out that we will be charged more for not finishing food we didn’t like. That instantly made me feel like I was at my grandma’s house and couldn’t leave the table until I ate her burnt food. Not how to treat a customer who actively dislikes your food because it tastes bad. Better hope you like what you ordered because you’ll have to eat it even if you don’t like it. Make sushi at home, it’s cheaper and will most like taste better than here, and if you don’t like it it’s free to throw it in the trash.

We love this place!!! It’s one of our favorite date night places! Its on the pricey side but with 2 meals and tip, it usually runs $80. We love the atmosphere but their sushi is what shines! It’s hard to find quality sushi in the Midwest but they do such a good job! We love taking others here and it’s WELL WORTH the hour drive for us! Staff is always so friendly and happy to give recommendations! It’s truly an experience!

Wow, I live in San Francisco and this is some of the best sushi I have ever had. The sake containers were even magnificent and the service was impeccable. All of the fish was very fresh! And thank you for the Sake Bomb!!!

The food was awesome, and the price for the all-you-can-eat sushi was totally worth it. We tried a bunch of different things, and they were all really good. Our favorites were the Yummy Yummy Roll and the Crunchy Crab Roll. Overall, it was a great experience. After adding up what we ordered, it would have cost us over $210, so the all-you-can-eat deal is definitely worth it.

We’ve been going to Izumis for a long time. We love their sushi. Unfortunately we will not be back for the foreseeable future after the awful service we experienced last visit. We never received our last order for the AYCE after waiting 30 minutes for them to even pick it up, and then after an additional 30 minutes we went up to the front to pay and left.
