Came here for taco Tuesday with friends and enjoyed it. The playlist is lively and the place filled out as the dinner hour progressed. Our server was nice. We tried the nachos, tacos, and margaritas. This is a nice spot to come and enjoy the food and music.

Yellow Door in Providence offers a fantastic dining experience with a great atmosphere both inside and out on the back patio. The space feels vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a casual night out or a relaxed evening with friends. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent from start to finish.

We stopped in for RI Food Fights ‘Taco Mania!’ and had the Birria and Duck tacos, both were outstanding — full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The quality of the food really stands out. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and overall experience make it well worth it.

A nice bonus: they offer $5 tacos on Tuesdays, which is a perfect excuse to go back.

Overall, Yellow Door is a standout for anyone looking for delicious tacos, great service, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere in Providence.

Out of all the Yellow Door Taqueria, this is the best and its not even close! The servers, bartenders, and hosts awesome! The food is great and one could easily tell the chefs cook with some serious soul! Great dining experience! Make this this your Touchdowns and Tequila day on Sundays

This was my first time at yellow door taqueria and overall the experience was just okay. I went on a random Wednesday night when it was pretty quiet. My server was very nice and friendly, but the actual service wasn’t the best. After being seated and given water, it took about 20 minutes before anyone came back to take our drink and appetizer order.
I ordered the sweet and spicy wings for an app and they tasted like regular honey BBQ wings. Our entrees also took a while to come out. I got the birria taco, chili duck taco, queso carne taco, and a side of rice and beans. The queso carne was the only good one. The birria was extremely oily, and the chili duck had an off putting taste. The refried beans were surprisingly the best part of the meal and the rice was mushy and overcooked. The drinks were nothing special either. Although they did end up comping them at the end.
I’m glad I finally tried it since it’s been on my list, but I wouldn’t return.

It was ok. Went on a Wednesday & it was empty. Waited at the door for 10 min before someone came to seat me. The queso crane taco was very delicious, the shrimp taco was good too ( only came with 2 extremely small shrimps) The drink was sub-par. Mostly ice. Nice atmosphere tho. Good for business meetings as its pretty empty & the music is very subtle. The bar tender / waitress was very nice & accommodating.

We didn’t have a reservation so we had to sit at the bar which was still a great experience. Our bartender Jessica was great and answered all of our questions. The tacos were delicious and the guacamole was yummy.

I ordered four tacos for takeout from here for lunch one day: two birria, one scallop, and one coconut shrimp. All of them were very good, but the scallop taco stood out as particularly excellent. The food was ready quickly and it was easy to pick it up from the host stand right inside the entrance of the restaurant. The food was packaged well for transport and the online ordering system worked well.

Food was good but $25 for 2-bite portions is diabolical. You might as well go to Xaco Taco… they actually load up the tacos, their taquitos is more filling and LONGER.

Decided to stop by for dinner after our long evening walk! Restaurant vibes are very nice and aesthetically pleasing. outdoor seating as well. Food was very yummy – the tacos are small so recommend getting 3! The drink menu is extensive and very good too. Can’t wait to come back.

Expensive but you can count on getting what you pay for. Tacos superb, nachos really great portion. Food is consistent (been here 4 times since it’s been open). Margaritas are great and strong. It is our date night spot at least once a month.
