Impressive menu and eclectic atmosphere. They have so many different items! Was so happy to see the inclusion of Filipino dishes as well as other culturally based foods, such as Spanakopita. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The food is delicious!!! Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed. We ordered vegetable lumpia, mushroom lechon, pinakbet, pork skewers, and for dessert, Halo Halo. They even made sure to accommodate dietary restrictions.

In thinking how best to describe the experience at Pookaberry, the words are as follows:

Overwhelmingly Creative

Delectable

The host, owner, artist, creative genius behind the cafe is Marco – who is brilliant. He shines and infuses his personality into everything and is an absolute delight. Behind his magical vision is a great team of bartenders and a Filipino chef and kitchen that delivers some surprisingly EXCELLENT food!

This is a place where you can stay for hours and hours enjoying the vibe, community, loving embrace of creative energy, and great drinks & food.

Although I was not there for any live music or events, I bet you the talent would be top-notch!

Food was awsome and the place looks cool I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pookaberry Cafe, and I must say, the culinary experience was absolutely delightful! Among the various mouthwatering dishes I tried, the Chicken Adobo Pizza, Halo Halo, and Dulce Leche Cake with Caramel Beads truly stood out.

Let’s start with the Chicken Adobo Pizza. The combination of tender chicken adobo, perfectly melted cheese, and a thin, crispy crust was a heavenly treat for my taste buds. The flavors complemented each other in a way that was both unique and comforting. It’s a must-try for any pizza lover looking for a twist on a classic!

Moving on to the Halo Halo, it was a refreshing and indulgent dessert. Pookaberry Cafe’s version of this traditional Filipino dessert was a delightful medley of various sweet ingredients. From the colorful assortment of fruits to the silky-smooth shaved ice and the creamy leche flan, every spoonful was a burst of happiness. It’s the perfect treat to beat the heat!

Last but not least, the Dulce Leche Cake with Caramel Beads was a true showstopper. The moist and flavorful cake layers, generously filled with luscious dulce leche, were simply irresistible. The caramel beads added a delightful crunch and a touch of elegance to the overall presentation. It was a slice of heaven that left me craving for more!

The ambiance of Pookaberry Cafe was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff who provided excellent service throughout my visit. The food was prepared with great attention to detail and was served promptly. The portion sizes were generous, offering great value for money.

I highly recommend Pookaberry Cafe to anyone looking for a unique and satisfying dining experience. Whether you’re a fan of Filipino cuisine or simply in search of new flavors to tantalize your palate, their Chicken Adobo Pizza, Halo Halo, and Dulce Leche Cake with Caramel Beads are sure to leave you wanting more. I can’t wait to visit again soon!

Pop art meets Philippines eats. The islands best Philippino delicacies I have ever eaten. The atmosphere is awesome with famous work all over the place inside and outside. I noticed they were using local farmed produce, meats, and seafood. If you like pork I must recommend the SISIG it is so delicious!!

This place is a whole experience. It popped up on Google as one of the few places with vegan options in the area so we decided to give it a shot. Immediately upon walking in, we were pleasantly surprised at the funky decor and extremely hospitable staff. I got the vegan burger and my partner got pork stew – both were pretty good. Definitely check this place out for a fun time!

Never been in a place like this. Truly a hidden gem. Came here for my birthday tonight and the owner not only served us, but gave us the full experience. The artwork all over the ceiling was stunning, the oddities around the place made for a goofy yet super fun environment, the owner was cracking jokes over the microphone etc etc.

The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a slew of appetizers (highly recommend the dumplings and boom boom shrimp) and sadly we had to take the entrees home for leftovers because we spent more time chatting and mesmerized than ordering. That said once the entrees were ordered it took quite a while to come out and we were in a rush, so only downside was the length it took for the entrees. Owner even promised me birthday cake upon my return. Can’t recommend enough!

This place is so eclectic and beautiful. The food is amazing, and the decor is inspired. Each item brought back memories of my time living in San Diego. The veggie pancit tastes authentic and the lumpia is so flavorful! Not too mention, the service makes you feel so comfortable!

Had taken the kids out to the farms out east and happened to stop by this establishment serendipitously. I had been captured by the endless number of Asian food fusion options that had been advertised outside. Stopped by with the kids just to try it out and was met with who I assumed to be the owner of the restaurant. He was incredibly wonderful and his vibe was super welcoming and warm. Initially only wanted dessert and ended up ordering a bunch of food items to take home which were all amazing. Will definitely need to stop by and dine in next time! The kids loved the food which speaks volumes!!
