Reviews
My main dish—the beef stroganoff—was a bit disappointing. It was bland, lacking flavor, and the pasta was slightly overcooked.
That said, the restaurant itself and the surrounding area are very beautiful, making it a pleasant place to dine. Overall, I would still recommend it, especially given the excellent service and atmosphere. They also offer complimentary valet parking, which is a nice bonus.
The salmon entrée was cooked just right — tender inside with a crispy seared edge, served with creamy mashed potatoes and fresh greens, making it both rich and healthy.
The green soup was surprisingly delightful — smooth, flavorful, and visually stunning with a delicate cream design on top.
Overall, the restaurant offers elegant plating, fresh ingredients, and a calm, cozy atmosphere. A great place for a relaxing dinner or date night.
Great for a cute event!
They were probably understaffed so we were mostly ignored. We asked for an outside table when I made the reservation but when we checked in, they said there weren’t any even though we saw a few. We enjoyed the hotel stay there but the dining experience was lackluster and dampened the vibes for the weekend. So maybe you can skip their dining offerings if you’re staying at the Edgewood.
10/10 I would go again.
We didn’t have time to enjoy a cocktail before appetizers appeared, and before we could finish those, the entrées were already landing on the table. It felt less like dining and more like being fed through a funnel at top speed.
The food, unsurprisingly, failed to impress. The “medallions” were not medallions, my dish was overcooked, and somehow managed to be different from my parents’ identical order. Two appetizers we ordered never arrived at all — perhaps because serving them would have pushed us past our allotted one-hour dining window.
The grand finale was being asked to leave before finishing my cocktail because the next reservation was on the way. Conveniently, this information was shared only after I’d paid the bill, making me instantly regret leaving a generous tip for what was truly a masterclass in rushed hospitality.
The ambiance and cocktails were the only redeeming qualities. I wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend this place — unless you enjoy paying premium prices to be hurried out the door.
