In town visiting some friends and stopped in for pizza. Everyone has different measuring sticks by which they judge pizza, so let me put it out there that I wouldn’t eat Domino’s if you gave it to me for free. I expect more from pizza and generally find gold results at local pizza centric spots like Rick’s. Good crust (always get thin) and good cheese, the cornerstones of a great pizza. Toppings we’re above average but not amazing, so overall I really enjoyed what we got (combo, veggie, and they have a dill pickle pie). My only real letdown was that the pickle pizza was delicious, but the pieces of pickle were gigantic and took away from the overall experience. If I was in Lodi, I would definitely come back, the group of 5 of us were all pretty satisfied and happy with the pizza.

Ricks pizza is a Lodi, CA institution. I started going here 25 years ago and loved everything it stood for an their quality pizzas. Then after being diagnosed with Celiac, I stopped coming. But then they got the most amazing GF pizza crust. Now I am hooked and I judge all other GF pizzas to theirs. Keep up the great work

Awesome crust on any of their pizzas. Nice seating indoors and friendly staff. Gilroy and Hawaiian pizzas were very tasty. Pickle pizza was interesting but family members that love pickles will love it. Nice nostalgic choices in the arcade as well.

Ricks is a staple in Lodi, CA, it is always busy, the prices are a tad high, but it is in the Lakewood plaza, the delivery drivers are always helpful, and if your feom lodi, then you know ricks is like the “Teen” job that alot of kids started at including my parents, friendly servers, close byt clean environment. Only sad thing was my beer came back flat when I last went in, but the quality of the pizzia more than makes up for it, I didn’t think to take pics but I will next time.

The pizza I ordered was a bit disappointing. The sauce lacked flavor and the quality of the meat was poor, leaving me unsatisfied. I had hoped for a better taste experience, but unfortunately, it fell short. Additionally, for the price I paid, I expected higher quality ingredients. Overall, while the pizza was fair in terms of sauce flavor and meat quality, it was not worth the cost. The salad gets 4 stars, the meat pizza 2-3 stars.

I’m not sure what people find appealing about ricks pizza. The appetizers tasted like they were popped in the microwave. Above all, the pizza was subpar and the crust especially was unedible. It was hard like cardboard and the dough texture was inconsistent all around. The tomato sauce was extremely sweet. Francos pizza is the best pizza in town by far.

Pizza was really good. My kids love the Mac and cheese bites. I wasn’t feeling the chicken wings all that much; however, I understand that this isn’t a chicken wing spot and most if not all pizza place that have chicken wings have these same wings. Service was great. Overall, we are coming back in the near future.

Great place, my favorite pizza in town for sure, great for the kids with the arcade in that back. However if you are having a party, order ahead, the food comes very slowly
