We’ve been waiting to check out the new location, and it surpassed all our expectations. Super clean and beautiful design, and a really relaxing but stimulating atmosphere. Food was amazing, and employees paid great attention to detail. Definitely a great addition to the top-tier of easy dining on Beechmont.

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious FUSIAN truly is. When I arrived I was greeted by a very nice and patient worker who took the time to make sure that I received everything that I wanted when I was ordering. I tried the new Mango Tuna Bowl and it was OUTSTANDING! I love all of the customization you can do to your food. I chose to add my favorite sauce of all time, spicy mayo. The workers make sure that your food is exactly the way you want it before you pay. The strawberry lemonade made in house was a perfect sweet pairing for my tangy bowl. I ended up coming back the same week because I could not get enough. I tried the Mango Dessert Rice and enjoyed that just as much. I will be coming back very soon.

Ordered to go when the power was out all day. The fish and toppings were all good but the rice was crunchy. Like really crunchy which is hard to get past when there is rice in every bite. It was my first experience so I’d probably give them one more shot but for the price of a bowl it was very unexpected.

I absolutely love this avenue of food but this experience was a bit rough for me. When I came in there was maybe one table so it wasn’t busy at all. The service was good she helped me navigate the menu and sort it out but I was not thrilled about spending 18$ on lunch. She could have made sure to let me know the avocado was extra but that was only .95 so I’m not sure how it got so expensive. Probably because you have to do all the math in your head for all the additional charges. Then I went to sit down to eat and nearly all the tables had not been wiped off. There was water dripping on the one clean table from the HVAC ductwork sweating and the table I picked was so unlevel I almost spilled my expensive lunch all over my lap. Then about an hour later I was hit with some serious digestive distress which unfortunately had evidence from the lunch I just ate in it. I eat this type of food frequently and have never had this type of explosive response. Staff seemed more into chit chatting than keeping a clean restaurant which I can only assume is the reason I am frequently visiting the bathroom right now. Tasted good though. This just really stinks because we need more food like this available tonight all the greasy unhealthy food.

I came in and told the young man behind the counter that this was my first time eating there, I told him that I wanted a bowl with salmon and several other items – no problem. He then asked what kind of sauce/s I would like – I asked for the sweet chili sauce and a “quick squirt of sriracha”… and he loaded as much sriracha on the bowl as he put on chili sauce.
I also ordered a fountain drink, he gave me the total, and I paid. The counter is 4 feet wide… and he left my bowl about a foot away from the edge on his side – he did not push it into easy reach for me, so I had to lean over the counter and grab it. I then went to get chopsticks, and I realized that I had not been given a cup for my drink. I had to go back to the counter and look for where the cups were – they were in a wooden corral attached to the top of the counter, and the stack did not stick up past the edge of this corral, so they were not obvious.
Was he disappointed that I only gave him a 15% tip for the 3 minutes that it took him to prepare my order? Either way, he made no dispensation for a customer, particularly one who had never been there before and thus was not used to their routine. All I could think of as I was eating was, “I should have gone 3 doors down to Currito…”

Chris, the new manager was working so filling entry with what looked like 3 new staff all at the same time. And he was training them being so patient, but also being mindful of customers wait. I had waited a small bit and he was so kind. Really thankful for good store managers that lead from the front instead of demand from the back.
