Simple, family-owned restaurant turning out familiar Chinese-American staples like General Tso’s.

Man, there are some entitled people leaving reviews. The food for the most part was incredible. Now to be fair and reasoned, we didn’t think any of the appetizers were very good (we got the sampler plate and tried most of them). But the soft chow mein was heavenly and had plenty of veggies, the fried rice was flavorful, and the chicken (we tried the sweet and sour and the orange) was too notch. We ordered to go and they kept the sauces separate which is such a cool move that keeps things fresh. Not many places do that anymore. Plus, instead of putting everything in a bag that might tear or spill in the car, they put all the take out boxes in a bigger box. The aroma on the car ride home was to die for. The prices are very fair and the portions provided enough for left overs. They were very busy but very kind and helpful and friendly. My wife and I will still explore other Asian places but this is definitely our go-to!!

We’ve been there 3 times now and love them. Their egg flour soup and eggs are amazing! We ordered take out on Christmas eve even though it was a 2.5 hr wait. WORTH IT!. I observed a a couple of impatient customers who were rude so I gave them an extra tip because they were trying sooo hard. Keep up the good work. We will be back for sure!

Food: Low quality meat and ingredients. Portion sizes are large, but the quality of ingredients is very poor. I wouldn’t return to this restaurant. Here is what we tried:
Broccoli Beef: VERY rubbery meat, sauce was okay (lacking in flavor), veggies cooked well. I don’t know what they used as a tenderizer but it’s super gross. We ate the broccoli from this and left the rest.
Mandarin and Orange Chicken: placed together on a plate so unsure which was which. It’s chicken thigh and pretty fatty. How they bread huge chunks of thigh together so lots of it is over cooked. It’s kinda chopped up in massive chunks which makes it rubbery as well. One of the sauces was okay flavor wise, but not which one. Again, large portion but horrible quality of meat. I’d be okay with half the meat portion if they used chicken breast and did small bite size pieces. The breading itself was tempera style and not bad, but the execution just killed it. Majority of this left on the plate untouched.
Fried rice: okay flavor, but extra oil added (greasy). We ate this because we had to eat something.
BBQ pork and seed: What a joke! They put 4 teeny pieces of dried pork on the plate. No sauces or anything making it pork and seed. Just the dry pork. Hard pass on this one.
Crab Rangoon: The only decent item we had. As you can tell food was an utter disappointment.
Service: It was okay. About what you expect, but expecting $5+ to just drop off food and not check in with guests is outrageous.
Price: Overall prices are decent but poor quality and NOT worth perceived “savings”. As for our check the price seemed high when we were checking out, but so didn’t have the menu to reference. We just paid for a shitty meal and left. Over half the food was not eaten (2 people) and they didn’t bother to ask how the meal was. Note to Joy Garden. It was nasty and we won’t return. Anyways … on the drive home I pulled up the menu online and they overcharged us $5 which just pisses me off further. Spending $30 for us to leave home still hungry as your gross Chinese food still sits on the plate means loss of business. We LOVE supporting local, but not this restaurant

I have been here numerous times. It is one of my go to for Chinese food. The restaurant is nothing fancy, actually kind of a typical hole in the wall restaurant. However the waitress was overly rude tonight. I rarely dine in and I’ve ever had any issues with the service on to go orders, even when placing orders close to closing time or huge orders for co workers during lunch time. I was extremely disappointed with the service received the other night, I felt like a huge inconvenience, drinks were never refilled and the table was sticky despite her “cleaning it again”. Not sure I’ll be back or order from them again anytime soon unfortunately.

Never misses. Everytime I’m near by I order from this spot. Plus the owners/workers are awesome people. Always greet me whenever I walk in. Make a latino brother feel at home. I love the etiquette, Speaks volume. I would give ya’ll 5 out of 5 stars each time I dine. I swear, it hits like no othaaa

Not sure why it’s so hard to find great Chinese food like in New York or south Florida. This is supposed to be Mongolian beef, fried rice and egg rolls not sure why they are so big. Really not pleased with the food!! The beef is spongy weird tasting and there’s very little of it with a bunch of vegetables fried rice was plain and those gigantic egg rolls were not very good. Waste of money!!

We placed five take out orders. The order was ready and accurate. Reasonable price.
However the food was nothing special, just so so.
I ordered fried shrimp and received three highly breaded small shrimp pieces. Felt like I was eating a rice only meal.

The food was decent, not great but not bad at all. The service however…that was all bad. Had to ask for things multiple times & it took forever to get what we repeatedly asked for. When our waiter brought the bill it was handwritten in whatever “shorthand” they use (had no clue what it said) & no prices, just a total. When we asked for clarification & to split the bill, well let’s just say our waiter was not happy & had no problem letting us see his unhappiness.

A hole in the wall kind of place. When I choose foreign eatery, I like to be transported to their world. Walking in, you get blasted by their door ringer which is on the door and not in the depths of the kitchen, assaulting customers as they come in.
The fish tank, had but one lonely fish and while decorative, their counter could use a tapestry to hide their storage area behind it. . There was no cultural transportation, just a menu with no mentioned tofu options, and American pop radio in the background.
I asked for a tofu dish and the smiling waitress was happy to accommodate, but when it came, there was nothing special about it. I had to ask for chilli sauce for something to interest me in the food.
I had to go to the counter to pay, and a vegetable tofu lunch was $16! Way too much for the offering.
I’d skip, and try somewhere else.

Walked in sat down no one restaraunt. Person in back cooking no one came out to meet us for over 10 min. This place has good food but apparently you need to order it for pick up, because there is no in restaraunt service
