Incredible experience, great food, fast service, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. My family came here for lunch, and all left with bellies stuffed. Prices were incredibly agreeable, more than fair for the taste and amount of food you get.

A cozy Chinese restaurant on the northeast side of cedar rapids. The restaurant is part of a strip.mall with a couple.of other restaurants. Went for a quick lunch with my wife, son and granddaughters. Seemed like they only had one waitress and she was helping a lot of others so it took a few minutes before she got to our table to get the order but we weren’t in a big hurry so no problem. The restaurant was clean and tbe staff was friendly. Got our food and everyone enjoyed their meal. Go to the counter to pay and they have a tap credit card system with 4 or 5 preset tip options as well as a custom tip so payment only took a couple of seconds. We would certainly come back when we are back on that side of town again.

We use to go there for lunch all the time during the work week. I’ve not been back since a coworker had a roach cooked into his food. We pointed it out to the staff. A woman demanded we pay for our meal, including for the food with the roach in it. They charge you if you ask for sweet and sour sauce on the side even though it come on the chicken already and just asked for it to be on side instead..

Cedar Rapids— deserves 10 stars, we stopped on a Monday, they were so nice. Service was fantastic, aesthetically welcoming, CLEAN, the food was delicious. We tried the crab Rangoons they were delicious. Price point was reasonable, large enough quantity that we had leftovers! Our server was amazing, our pop never ran dry. We’ve tried other Chinese places in the area, but feel this one is definitely the top pick for us. Hopefully you give them a try and agree they offer great food & service.

Service and atmosphere was great. It’s a really small, homely restaurant that was easy to get in and out of. Was served very quickly. Only critique is the serving sizes. I feel like you could get more for the same amount of money elsewhere. But other than that it was ok.

Hadn’t eaten there since the pandemic but stopped for lunch today after church and it was just as I remembered it. Service was good, and we were in and out in less than an hour. I love the egg drop soup and my sweet and sour chicken just hit the spot. Lunch is 8.95 and includes soup, an appetizer, and main dish. Check it out!

The food was completely bland, the noodles are overcooked and tasteless and mushy. All I could taste was seed oil in all of it. The spring rolls had cabbage in it that felt like it was old cabbage. It was super crunchy and stringy. The dipping sauce for the pot stickers was highly vinegar and tasted sour. No flavor. A total waste of money.

While most of the food was delicious and it had fun dishes, the quality of the pork that they used was at times lacking. There was some gristle that had to be spit out buy both my dinner companion and I.

Gross. Expensive. $36. The fried food (put out platter) was not good. Bad oil. Soup was meh. Empress chicken was a victim of the old oil too. Yuck. I ate only a few bites and some of the hot and sour soup. Very disappointed. I won’t go back. For $36 for three items this dinner should have been perfect.

The rudeness of the owner?/manager?/person at the checkout counter? just cost this establishment two long-time customers. I had interrupt to request that I pay the check as he was arguing with my accompanying friend about whether or not they charged in the past for substituting lo mein noodles for rice.
