Absolutely love every little part of this gem. The decor and ephemera is nostalgic, lovingly curated, and some is downright beautiful. I can’t imagine how much time it must have taken to curate. I’m so happy to have discovered this place and can’t wait to come back for many years to come! There’s ice cream, in house candies, coffee, espresso, sandwiches, pizza, and a fun quirky candy store in the back. Lots of places to sit and the vibe is great. Make sure to put a quarter in the player piano! I can’t wait to come back in the summer to spend time in the charming backyard courtyard.

Beautiful vintage soda fountain, espresso bar, confectionary and cafe serving pizza (including a gluten free cauliflower crust option), hotdogs, ice cream treats from scoops and shakes to phosphates and even +21 liqueur flavors. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Clean, cheerful ambiance. Find your favorite childhood candies or indulge in homemade fudge, taffy, chocolate covered espresso beans or choose from hundreds of other quality treats. Gorgeous courtyard lounge out back and several tables and booths inside. Street parking available with a block or so and main street is very strollable. Make a day out of a visit to La Conner – just 6 miles off I5, this tiny waterfront town will charm weary travelers.

We have loved the decor, salt water taffy, and chocolate fudge here, but had never tried the pizza. Finally did today, and it was terrific. Great crust (dough had excellent flavor), sauce, and toppings. Good list of beers on tap. And we learned that the back opens out to the Hotel Planter courtyard, a perfect place for lunch on this sunny Saturday. We definitely see more of their pizzas in our future!!

This place should be a museum! The items the owner has managed to acquire are so beautiful and facinating, I could spend an entire day just looking at everything. The variety of sweets is astounding! If I wasn’t worried about slipping into a sugar-induced coma, I would want to try everything.
I got ice cream and enjoyed it while sitting in an amazing back patio area.

My wife and I are from BC, Canada. This past Saturday, we visited O’Neill’s with friends. Though I can say we were warmly greeted upon entry, and pleasantly and professionally served and treated throughout our time there (we sat at a table with our drinks), I would like to highlight something that occurred upon our departure.

After we left O’Neill’s we strolled along 1st Street and were about 2 blocks away when the manager of O’Neill’s (and another lady patron) came running toward us calling out. Out of breath, he asked if perhaps one of us had left a bag behind. As it turned out, I had left my satchel, in which I carry my wallet, credit cards, passport, et al. By some kind of Providence, he/they found us…a fair walk away. I returned to O’Neill’s with him and retrieved my satchel.

This fine act of kindness and professionalism was the crescendo to the overall reception and treatment we had received at O’Neill’s, and it had the feel of good ol’ small home town. If the manager had not tracked me down, I would have been in a fine mess, especially trying to cross back into Canada again without my passport.

Our thanks to the manager (and to the other lady patron) for going beyond the call of duty. It reveals the good character of a person and business owner to do such a thing.

Step into what I can only describe as a slice of heaven—a delightful little paradise where confectionery dreams come true! Picture this: a vibrant blend of soda, ice cream, pizza, beer, energy drinks, and a candy parlor that will make any sweet tooth sing. This charming spot has everything you could wish for, wrapped in elegant decor that inspires awe with every glance.

As you stroll through the beautifully adorned space, with its stunning marble accents and other luxurious stones, you can’t help but feel transported. There are framed notes of history that offer fascinating insights, making the experience not just indulgent, but enriching as well. And let me tell you, the golden cash register adds a touch of whimsy that’s simply unforgettable!

For those with a penchant for sweets, they offer an array of local delights, from rich fudge to chewy taffy. I promise you’ll leave with your sweet cravings thoroughly satisfied. When my fiancé and I visited, we enjoyed a refreshing Tieton cider beer paired with the most unique tombstone pizza, and Kona and Mint chocolate chip ice cream, all while lounging in vintage chairs that added a delightful charm to our experience.

I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone passing through. It’s not just a place to grab a snack; it’s an experience you absolutely cannot miss. Don’t just walk by—step inside, and you won’t regret it!

This Candy Store in La Conner is everything I’ve been searching and hoping for….Back in the day there used to be to be “Penny Candies” as well as an array of “old fashioned “ goodies I remember we as kids use to buy at the old Hop In Grocery off of Cemetery Road which is now, 4th, in East Highlands, Renton. This place though, in La Conner, kicks it up several notches! It’s absolutely, STUNNING! Eye Candy for this Semi-Retired Designer.
Hats of to the Owners. And a BIG, Thank you❣️ ♥️

This is such a darling spot! If my kids were younger, this would definitely be on our normal rotation. Great variety of fun candy for stocking stuffers, great ice cream & a fun, old time atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back and try the pizza.

This is an adorable little old-fashioned ice cream shop; I feel like they designed it specifically for me! When I visited, the staff were friendly and the scoops were good-sized. The decor is super cool, like an episode of “Public Displays of Confection”. There is chic antique ice cream parlor furniture in the front near a 25¢ player piano, and if you go to the back (like you’re going to use the restroom) there is a spacious and beautiful outdoor courtyard area. We definitely plan to return with the whole family!
