Busy Sunday brunch, but they got us seating right away waters and Coffee for all who asked. The menu is easy to read and has a lot of choices. I alway go for breakfast no matter the time of day. So in order a 1/2 order of French toast. Yummy and fresh and warm. My daughters chose a variety of breakfast options too. They had items traded out and other place in for no extra cost. Got 2 take home boxes. So good.

The first resto I tried my very 1st breakfast when I moved here in Simi Valley since it’s close to home. I had several breakfast here & up to this day that one server, I guess she is the senior server always give me that attitude. But I want to commend the young server who is in the cash register & the Asian server who always has that sincere smile.
Hope the senior servers will wear a sincere smile & be friendly to every ethnicity who eats here.
Just bear in mind, sometimes it’s not always the food that some of the customers are hook on frequently going back, its the welcoming atmosphere of the staff as well.

This is an “old school” diner with excellent food, unbelievably efficient servers, and that wonderful diner atmosphere! I can’t believe I have lived in Simi Valley for 12 years and didn’t know about this place…always complaining that Simi Valley had no good American breakfast places…boy was I wrong! I could eat here every day…if I wanted to weigh 400 lbs! The Awesome Omelet was AWESOME and my server (dark hair didn’t get her name) was incredible! The place was packed and these two girls handled it admirably!

Good diner style food. The sandwiches are what I always get and they never disappoint. The Sky High Pastrami sandwich with a side of fried zucchinis are my go-to.

This was a great experience! We’ve have driven by a million times and finally went to eat. Food was great, service was great, it was busy and they didn’t skip a beat. We’ll be back!
One suggestion… Add tater tots to the menu!

This is a very sweet, inexpensive diner! It’s really impressive for diner food. Honestly, a lot of the things I go to diners for the atmosphere, but the food here is actually delicious too. It’s the best of both worlds! I would recommend upgrading to the homemade biscuits.

Whatever you do, if you’re a tall person over 5’8, DO NOT sit at the bar, there’s literally NO leg room. As far as the food goes, it’s good. The menu has a wide variety of options, and they serve breakfast all day. Staff is very friendly too.

Having passed this place many times during evening walks, I was curious about this establishment and its unique firehouse theme. Upon the first visit, the Firehouse Café lives up to its name in interior décor. Plenty of furnishings that reflect the fire brigade, with a slight touch of a 50s café in the front bar having stools available. The food itself was a real pleasure: a chili cheese omelet, ranging from a 2 alarm (mild) to 5 alarm (spicy) beanless chili, with grated cheddar, hash browns, and chocolate milk, made a breakfast/brunch dining experience a truly wholesome and pleasant one. Service was equally prompt and gracious, the staff providing good attention to details and a positive disposition for customers. This place has the best chili cheese omelet I’ve ever tasted, and I hope to come back again soon, eager for more. Thank you for a most satisfying experience. Prosperity unto all the staff, gratitude to the cooks for their culinary skills, and joy in a 5-star rating that I hope will inspire others who read this review to visit the Firehouse Café and enjoy the dining it offers for themselves.

My first time visiting Firehouse Cafe this morning. I got the California omelet with refried beans and biscuits and gravy. Food was good and the waitress was super friendly. Will be coming here again in the future. Would like to try lunch here.

I stopped by and placed an order to go. My order was taken and made quickly and was delicious. My only complaint would be the burger was too big .
