This was my first time going to NC Tavern. We went for food only not to stay. I understand it’s a bar. The music was so loud with different conversations going on that I couldn’t even think straight and had to leave out. I haven’t been to a bar in over 10 years, not my thing. If that’s your thing go for it. The bouncers were very polite and such gentlemen. Let’s dive into the food. I had Chicken tenders and fries. I have never seen chicken tenders so big in my life. Seasoned to perfection. Not all fries are good but there fries were so delicious. I had to have honey mustard on the side. I don’t know if I would go again due to the bar atmosphere. However, I do highly recommend there food. I give credit where credit is due. I don’t know who cooked it but keep doing an excellent job. That’s why the food gets 5 stars. Being that I had to leave out my Sista stayed to get the food. I’m pretty sure the ladies gave phenomenal service.

It’s always a vibe at Nc Tavern. 3 Stars for service due to the few slackers but Morgan & Deja are the absolute best at everything they touch! The rest of the servers are watered down just like the drinks they serve. Food is always good available to dine in or take out. Prices reasonable especially happy hour, though they have started a 18% Gratuity charge after 9pm on the weekends.

Stopped in for a drink and a bite to eat, it took over 20 minutes to get a drink from the bar because the waitress didn’t “Hear” my order my girl asked the MANAGER who was sitting next to use about the hookahs, he replied “I’ll be with you in a moment”(See photos) We watched him serve others and he NEVER acknowledged her again. Lastly, we ordered a shrimp and wing basket and they brought us shrimp and chicken tenders ♀️ JUST GO ELSEWHERE

Food is ok but ive only eaten an appetizer so im not going to comment on the food but the atmosphere is great… nice clean spot…bathrooms needed a little tlc when I was there last night…the staff is so friendly and kind…I don’t personally like the music the dj plays but Its still a vibe…nice little kick back!!

I attended Danceteria on the first Friday. DJ EBONY played the best R&B and house music songs. We danced and sang to songs that are not really played alot in Charlotte. I loved the fact that there was not any trap and / or mumble music that sometimes brings an unfavorable crowd. This was strictly for the real grown and mature crowd. I wish the time slot was longer. The food and service was also good. I like how it’s remodeled. The decor and technology is great.
However, I came there on Saturday night after a memorial service with friends and it was a totally different crowd and music. The smell of weed coming in the door from the patio was very strong on the inside. We all thought they were smoking inside ! Me, my in and out of town friends and family did not like that at all. We didn’t stay long because of the weed smell. That brought down the quality in my opinion. Something should be done about that. Everyone doesn’t want to be subjected to Marijuana smelling up the place !

Food is good especially the Wraps, but I’m a drinker so I love someone who recommends good drinks, and MAKES good drinks. She was attentive and funny, personable even when I didn’t wanna talk, Morgan (maybe Megan) was so cool, she made me the best Long Island and talked me into trying the fried shrimp. I had a really good time.

My food was just ok. I had the wings two dry rub. They both tasted the same, didn’t have enough seasoning. The wings were dry as well. The fries were good. My husband said his flounder was good. The drinks were reasonable and good.
