En los tiempos de antes desde Argentina hasta México, toda aldea para poder convertirse en un pueblo necesitaba tener una iglesia, un comisario y una tienda. Esta necesitaba abastecer a todo al pueblo, por lo que el dueño tenia que conseguir todo para considerarse una tienda. Es decir, tener sus manos/tentáculos en todas partes, por lo que eran llamados PULPEROS y a sus establecimientos PULPERIAS. Así nace un concepto de Bar de Ramos Generales, Un Gastro-pub que tiene para ofrecer comida de barra elevada inclinados a la comida mar panameña y opciones internacionales. Contamos con un ambiente cálido y acogedor, un servicio casual y entretenido con una excelente música para estimular los sentidos.

The food was amazing! We had the chicken burger and the steak sandwich. Staff superb and speak English. Happy hour with $5 drinks was a hit with us. Great chilled atmosphere. Made reservations a few hours ahead, seated immediately on arrival. Service was fast, waitress was very attentive and gave recommendations, and was quick to get new drinks during Happy Hour. Food came out quickly and hot and were all as described in the menu.
I would recommend making a reservation prior if you go during busy times as it is somewhat small, however they do have some open tables that people were able to walk in and sit down at.

We ordered the BBQ Burger (which was exactly what I was craving at that hour, and it was excellent), and we also had a ceviche that was very good. The portions of fries (which accompanied the burger) and the ceviche itself were a bit small.
The service was very attentive, with the staff being patient while we took our time choosing the main course. As for the atmosphere, I can’t say much since there weren’t many tables occupied due to the time we arrived. However, the décor was interesting and bold, inspired by the restaurant’s name and main ingredient — octopus.

A very small and dim restaurant but the food was very good! We ordered the mussels, the fried fish, the octopus, hummus with beef, and the empanadas. We’re very seasoned seafood eaters so our standards are high. The fish and octopus were the best- both were super fresh and the octopus had a wonderful smoky aroma. The others were decent as well. Biggest complaint is the atmosphere. Our server Joshua was very attentive and helpful. Overall would recommend coming here!

This was one of my favorite restaurants we ate at in Panama City. It had a cool vibe and excellent food. The drinks were unique and yummy. They had a special Christmas drink menu that were served in holiday mugs. We had a meat hummus dip to start with that was so good. My husband had the octopus and I had the Mac and cheese with chorizo. Both were very good. Would definitely return!

I must start by thanking Virginia for being the kindest waitress in getting a seat for my family without having a reservation. This place although small, is packed with warmth and good food. We had the fish, which was fresh and not spicy, a very tender pack of ribs, and a Mac and cheese that is one of the best I’ve had in Panama. This is a great place to go for a drink too, the music was uplifting and the vibe outstanding. Fully recommended.

The food was great. The chicken sandwich was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, just what you want in a sandwich. My husbands seafood empanadas were also delicious. The cocktails were also good and they didn’t skip on the alcohol. I hope to be back in that area soon so I can try other items on the menu.
