this place was so darling and cozy. I had a great time tasting some very good selected wine . It’s a great place to hang out and have a great conversation. Absolutely loved it

Always love visiting this cute not so little wine shop. It gives you an European type of vibes.

Was seated right away, outdoors.

They have a decent collection of wines.

Maxenti, cabaret Sauvignon was lovely.

My favourite one was Dominique Cornin Macon Chaintre. Although I feel that my second pour was different than the first one. Nevertheless I enjoyed my time here.

Didn’t eat anything, just came for some wine.

Love this place, will visit again.

Was in the area so decided to swing by Wine Room.

It was pretty crowded but we were able to grab a bench and side table in the back. Receipt labeled as “baby table” haha.

Wines range from $17-$25 a glass.

Staff can be a bit difficult to wave down during peak times.

Front is more modern, whereas the back room is a bit more dated and cozy.

Parking can be tough. I ended parking in the public garage a block away. Lots of parking available.

I’ve been coming here for years and watched how the prices increase and the service decreases. Good spot for adults to get some wine, but sometimes is too crowded and they let people in and gets really uncomfortable as they rush you to leave, even if you’re sharing the seat with other people. They have some regular customers that get really drunk and start annoying other patrons. They stop serving food because they’re too busy, would be nice to know until what time one can get some snacks there. For parking you can use the public one across the street. They change the menu often so you can try different wines.

I’ve been coming here for almost 10yrs and the customer service here gets worse every time. I met up with a friend here last night and I practically had to beg for water after trying to find parking and walking in the cold for 15mins.
It’s always a bad sign when you have to ask for water at a bar or restaurant but even after I asked the server made a point to deliver someone else’s order and then start fixing the fire place next to where I was seated after asking for water. So l asked for water again thinking maybe he accidentally forgot but he said no I heard you but you need to wait. At that point I was ready to go somewhere else but the vibes were good and we were now on our 2nd rounds of wine. The service here is really bad and it’s all because of the staff, maybe they think because they have been here so long they can treat people rudely but I would recommend the owner train them on proper customer service or hire new people eager to work. We paid $125 for 4 drinks and was willing to stay and buy more but with the poor service we left and went to another bar on Cal Ave in Palo Alto.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I accidentally dropped my fork and asked for a new one, and the server interrogated me about why I dropped it — seriously?

Then, while I was checking my wine glass (because it looked dirty), he told me not to break it because it’s worth $30. Excuse me? That level of disrespect is unbelievable.

As if that wasn’t enough, I went back shortly after realizing I had forgotten my glasses at the table. The staff didn’t even pretend to look — just bluntly said “nothing’s here.” No effort, no care, no professionalism.

This place might have a nice ambiance, but the service is downright disgraceful. Absolutely not worth your time or money. I wouldn’t come back here if they paid me.

Ok for tourists. Over-priced for the service. It’s my 8th time here and wanted to be sure before I rated them. No service or genuine welcome. Too busy to get off their phones and sports betting or whatever they do. Retired Upscale and Luxury hotels and Casino director.

The place looks nice. The atmosphere is inviting, but the attitude is so bad. The guys at the bar were so rude. They don’t understand wine, they pour wine as it is a beer. They don’t give you to try, they don’t explain or introduce. They don’t smile. They treat you as they give you a favor. We called manager, and to be honest, the manager was not polite either, holding his hands folded, telling us, that if not the Thanksgiving holiday, they would be so busy, that he wouldn’t even show up to talk to us. Such a bad place. Not professional at all.

This place can get very busy but I was lucky to come early enough on a weekday. Order a bottle of wine, nothing else makes sense. Be aware they automatically add a service charge. Brilliant, so you don’t have to calculate and add a tip on your own.
