I got the brisket plate and my partner got a fried chicken sandwich. Attentive and friendly service, varied beer selection, and good food. I had hoped the brisket would be a bit more fresh tasting, but we came at an off-hour, so I can see past that.

Wow. What a fabulous meal! We had the pork sandwich and pimento mac and cheese – both were memorably delicious. Pickled vegetables on the side, excellent bun, great vibes. There’s table service inside and counter service for the outdoor patio. We will return soon – the fried chicken sandwich looked amazing.

In short – exemplary service. Unforgettable, unique taste. Cozy, warm atmosphere. You can tell they put care into every aspect of this place – which is a rare find these days – folk who care about quality of their craft. Hidden gem and a cannot miss if you are in the Portland area.
The grilled corn muffins and butter combo put a smile on my face at the very first taste. The yellow and red sauces are both fantastic. I’ve tried Dinosaur BBQ in NY state and Franklin BBQ in Austin TX (which are top recommended favorites in those respective areas), and in my opinion, the sauce and ribs here were both more memorable at this place.
My favorite is the fried chicken sandwich. Juicy, fall apart tender, and full of flavor even without any sauce. I’ve tried some of the recommended fried chicken places in Nashville, and (my opinion only) — the fried chicken here was more memorable and leaves me wanting to come back for more.
None of the food felt too greasy/fatty or too heavy, and my experience was consistent over multiple visits in recent years. For that reason, I wanted to spend the time to leave a great review for these folk and what they’ve crafted at Noble BBQ.

I researched my first post fitness competition meal in Portland for quite some time and decided on Noble barbecue. The meatloaf burger is what I went for and it did not disappoint! This was probably the most tasty burger I’ve ever had, with the bacon, jam and truffle Ketchup, my sister and I who both ordered it looked at each other after our first bite like “wow!”. I got a few other sides and unfortunately wasn’t impressed with the french fries, but the chili and cornbread were to die for. The mac & cheese is also good but if I went back, I would definitely go back for the burger and the chili and cornbread. Staff was very nice and accommodating of our big party. I’ll be back!

I have been here a few times and they are the best BBQ I have had on a long time. The flavor of the brisket is fantastic. I split the Ruben and the Brisket sandwich with someone. The corned beef is the best corned beef I have ever had. I would have gone with slightly less craut and sauce to let the corned beef shine through.

Delicious food, great drinks, and no pretense. The ribs fell off the bone and were well complemented by the bbq sauce. The chopped pork exceeded expectations. The grilled cornbread and honey butter was a pleasant surprise. Everyone in our party of four can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.

I was a little disappointed that they did not have a plate option. They only have sandwiches, what the called naked options which are just the meats by themselves and sides. So I ordered 1/3 of pound of brisket, bbq beans and Mac & cheese. The brisket was really good, I didn’t like their bbq sauce so I had to eat it dry. The beans I was not a fan and wouldn’t not order it again and Mac & cheese was ok.
I would definitely come back for the brisket but would try other side options.

It’s a small little place, only a handful of tables and it was seat yourself. We were created immediately and the place was clean! The food was amazing!! We got our food quickly and everything was fresh and piping hot! Will definitely be coming here again

When I saw the ability to get a plain fried chicken sandwich and the many pickled offerings on the menu, I knew what the call would be. Bread and butter pickles, pickled onions, house hot sauce, and house red bbq sauce. The bun was absolutely perfectly toasted, adding just the crunch necessary to make this sandwich a magical experience. Lot of fresh habanero flavor in the hot sauce, but not too spicy as to be unenjoyable. Flavors on absolute blast. Pickled onions were flawless. Chicken was juicy and could not have been prepared better, amazing flavor. This sandwich was a true culinary delight. The pimento Mac was a nice compliment. Cavatappi is the best pasta for Mac, so I knew they weren’t amateurs. I’ll be frequenting this establishment and wish it didn’t take me this long to get there!
