Cheese dip and margaritas were a nice start. We ordered several meals, including the appetizer sampler platter, street tacos, soup, combo platters, and it ended with three soft serve ice cream. The wait outside was nice nice music plenty of seating and not a very long. Wait you could also sit at the bar if you preferred nice option for a nice dinner.

Visiting from out of town. Decided on Gringos for dinner. They had a nice patio area out front for guest to wait plus free soft serve ice cream. Love the green salsa option with our chips. Food was a bit slow coming out but it was understandable since it was Saturday night dinner rush. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious but we didn’t find anything special about it, just your typical Tex-Mex restaurant but don’t take our word. Go try it yourself

In disbelief, disappointed, and disgusted that unfortunately this happened all in one sitting. Roaches & rat/Possums during my dinner with my family. There was a roach inside by my table while I was eating my meal & a possum right at the door when I walked out and scared the living hell out of me! This was one of my fav places to go! This was certainly unsettling and ruined my dinner for me! Beware

I recently placed a pickup order from Gringo’s – Spring on 9/27 approximately at 7PM, looking forward to enjoying a meal from a restaurant we often visit. Unfortunately, what should have been a simple and pleasant experience took a concerning turn.
Upon opening my order at home, I discovered a safety pin inside the food. Understandably alarmed, I drove back to the restaurant immediately to report the issue. However, what was even more unsettling than the object itself was the way the situation was handled.
When I spoke with the manager, there was no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the incident, no apology, and no sense of ownership or concern. It was treated as if this were a routine complaint rather than a genuine safety hazard.
While I understand that mistakes can happen in any kitchen, how an establishment responds to those mistakes speaks volumes about its values and professionalism. In this case, the lack of accountability and empathy was deeply disappointing.
This review is not written out of frustration alone, but out of a sincere hope that the restaurant will take food safety — and customer communication — more seriously in the future. Incidents like this deserve to be met with both urgency and understanding.

Big ups to the cuties Destiny, Diana, & Elle. They were kind, fun, helpful, & thoughtful to me on Monday. It was my first time dining in & it was definitely a great experience. We giggled, laughed, talked, & they really just showed kindness, which us EXTREMELY RARE in this city. Houston is god awful. my server Coral was very sweet, excellent service, understood my food allergy, came by & made sure he understood exactly what the allergy was & how it affects me. He seems a bit nervous but he did a great job. The food came out in timely manner, the queso is delicious, the chips & salsa is so good especially the green sauce, & the beef enchiladas were very good. I loved the front Cadillac margarita. It’s a bit strong in taste due to the tequila but it’s relaxing 4 sure. ❤️. What I liked the most is when I expressed go Coral that I’m a laid back guest, don’t need much attention, he respected that, & still was attentive. I eat slow so don’t wanna stress my server. Overall it was really fun, great experience, & I’ll def say hi to the girls & request Coral again. Ty so much guys. The double rice was so light & delicious.

I just love this location. It’s always down to earth soothing very very very friendly people for tops it off is Mr. Dave our Server he has a great attitude. He makes great suggestions which I totally love and he makes you feel welcome not pressure. Great smile, Great person all around and does a great Job. He seems to be a person On top of things and didn’t miss a beat on our order or request . I love real people.
