Let’s not forget the TEQUILA. Of course, Mama uses plenty of booze in her margaritas to lighten the mood. On occasion she will even open up the floor for some dancing and entertainment. First time visit and was very pleased with the drinks and food. I had steak fajitas and my wife & daughter both had bowls. Everyone was pleased and I was actually impressed by the drinks and my fajitas. Great location, awesome wait staff, fair prices and great food. Will be back.

My fiancee and I come here regularly. The food is always great, service is fantastic, and even on busy nights we have never had to wait for a table. We happened to be in a hurry this night and told our server upon arrival. She helped us out and made sure everything was put in quickly and was a quick turn around. Her name was Susan and she is amazing! We will certainly be back.

The food was pretty good. I shared a plate of Tex mex nachos with my sister with the ground beef and it just wasn’t the move. That may also have been due to them being plain nachos. The other meals around the table looked good and were eaten in their entirety. Our server didn’t really want to be there and it was speculated that due to his missing name tag he gets commented on a lot. Telling me to pass down a drink (no please or in a questioning tone) and then proceeding to walk towards the other end of the table where the drink was headed in the first place. He did check on us a few times which was appreciated. The manager stopped by later and his energy was amazing. He was kind and joked around and thanked us for coming to his restaurant rather than another. He was cool. The music was really loud but as we were walking out someone walked in with a mic so maybe it was karaoke night. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated and it has a modern feel.

I usually order from this place on Uber Eats and the food is always amazing. Today, my daughter and I decided to dine in, and I have to say. The restaurant itself is just as incredible. Such a hidden gem in Dacula! The atmosphere was great, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress, Taylor, was so sweet and took wonderful care of us. This place has officially become a staple for my family, and we’ll definitely be dining here regularly.

EDIT: We decided to try the restaurant again for lunch on a Saturday, we sat near the windows at the front, and the noise in the restaurant was very manageable. The waiter, Jason, was excellent providing attentive service, recommendations and plenty of opportunities for refills and To Go items. I met the manager to let him know of the visit on our way out to reiterate my thoughts about the restaurant.
Final thoughts:
1. Food is incredibly displayed and tastes wonderful.
2. Environment and decorations are spot on.
3. The service is incredible.
4. Price might be a little higher than other places, but it seems to be designed to be a higher end restaurant..

The issues with the restaurant was that we were seated in the middle of the main room, and the music was so loud that we could not have a conversation at the table, and it was difficult to hear the staff, the food was priced a little higher than other places, and the sweet tea was bland and when I asked for it to be switched to a Coke, the server charged me for another drink.
I am hoping that the place can be a little more inviting in the future, because it would be nice to have a good restaurant nearer to our home.

The decor is very nice, very bright and colorful, staff is friendly and attentive, the bar is double sided inside and out side as well they did a very great job with the design of the restaurant and overall decor. The food was another story it wasn’t as good to me it was okay, I ordered shrimp tacos and the shrimp wasn’t pan fried or broiled they were like microwaved and made my stomach hurt a little the plantains were good and rice. I don’t drink alcohol so I couldn’t comment on it. I do wish they had more items on the menu I suggest better cooking techniques.

Our Awesome waitress Niki was everything! She knew exactly what we needed. She was very knowledgeable about the menu items, and made the perfect suggestions! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience at Tequila Mama Taqueria. We aren’t usually in this area but came to visit family members that live this way. One of them suggested TMT. Sooo glad they did! The service was friendly, attentive and courteous. The vibe of the place is upbeat, fun and a fresh style. Not dated at all! Yeah you might ask what about the food? Right, cause that’s why you’re at a restaurant … they hit a big time. Fresh deliciousness with a twist on some favorites. Plantains was a nice surprise on various dishes. Nothing boring about this menu. You just have to give this place a try. We’d drive from Atlanta again to visit one of their location.
