Laynes has progressively gone down hill. Every time I go my chicken is over cooked and dry. It use to be amazing but it’s just been junk the last few times I’ve gone.

2 months later now I just went back to give it another try, my mistake there was bone in my tender and a hair in my box that I found when almost finished with my food. Yuk! I’ve included pictures.

Annoying to access, fries taste like the frozen you’d buy at the grocery store to cook at home and chicken is just bland. The garlic toast was not garlic, literally just a slice of bread. Cane’s is the same price with excellent service and MUCH better food.

I honestly think this place is better than Canes, which is saying something since I love them too. Their signature sauce is a little better and Laynes and their chicken fingers are much better! I’ll be back when visiting Janesville.

I’ve never had a bad experience at Layne’s, truly one of the best places I have ever been to in terms of both food and atmosphere. They always get your food to you quick and the one time I have to wait upwards of only 10 minutes for my food they brought me an extra 3 piece meal as an apology. The only other ‘bad’ experience I’ve had is them forgetting my small shake, which they then gave me a large as an apology.
Just an awesome, awesome place. There’s always something different playing on their speakers too. I don’t think I’ve ever heard the same song twice.
I love this place so so much, the workers always have the best attitude.
My partner and I have been going fairly often since we got together it’s by far one of our favorite places, if not our favorite.

The food here has no flavor to it. It tastes like absolutely NOTHING. They put salt on my bread but not my fries which is so odd to me. I asked for extra cheese they gave me extra lettuce and went easy on the cheese instead smh

Food average. Service was great. Atmosphere is nonexistent….I mean it wouldn’t hurt to hang some decorations or pictures or something. And let’s not advertise Heinz ketchup when you’re refilling the bottles with generic ketchup.

Some of the greatest Fried Chicken around. Thank you for having variety in sauce. Some say stick with what you know, and I stick with Spicy Tenders and Honey Mustard. Get yourself right, Get Laynes.

Very clean restaurant, friendly staff, and more importantly, “Great Food”. We ordered the Chicken sandwich meal and it came with Chicken fingers on Texas Toast w/Layne’s sauce, fries and a drink to go. Food came fast and fresh. We will be returning. Wheelchair friendly access to restaurant on west side. Tables, ordering counter and restrooms are wheelchair friendly too. Plenty of tables to bring a group of hungry friends.

Honestly the best fast food place I’ve ever went to. The employees were kind and greeted me when I walked in. I asked to speak to the manager and he was super kind, even though he didn’t speak a whole lot of English I could tell he was a good guy. Overall amazing restaurant.
