The sushi here was really good. Everything tasted fresh and well-made. I tried a few different rolls, and each one had a nice mix of flavors. Definitely become one of my favorite sushi spots. The rolls here are very unique and I love the presentation of them. The staff was friendly and service was quick, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it’s a great spot to enjoy some tasty sushi!

Been ordering here for the last 4 years.
Today was a first. I ordered 30$ worth of food and put my work address which is literally NEXT door to my home address. (In NYC some businesses share addresses with residential buildings next door)
I sat here and watched the camera the whole time. Saw no one. Driver never got out the car since he couldn’t reach me by phone. I never saw anyone come to the door.
I finally called after too much time passed only to be told the driver had to too many jobs to come back THEN the driver gets on the phone and tells me that the drivers WENT HOME FOR THE DAY. Which one is it?
So my question is….what did they do with the food that was already prepared for me? Give it to another customer? Disgusting!!!

Pretty decent neighborhood sushi joint. You can choose between the AYCE or a la carte menu ordering. But your group needs to be all in. Can’t split the option. My family and I enjoyed a variety of appetizers and sushi. Scallop sashimi was quite good and I thoroughly enjoyed my uni bowl. Skip the beef ramen, most of the beef was dry. The favorites were the tuna and salmon sashimi.

I always ordered Uber Eats to deliver. First time I visited with 6 people lunch time. For a sushi restaurant, the smell was not good So I don’t know if it’s hygienic…. We were the only customers, and the service wasn’t very good, probably because everyone was so busy…. Last checkout, they gave us a bill with a tip of 20%, so I don’t want to go there from next time… But the food tastes good.

The prices has gone up, but the buffet is still worth it. You really need to plan out what food to order to eat your money’s worth, unless you can eat a ton without a problem. Majority of the time, the food are delicious, although there are the occasion cold or “not as good as last time” food. The servers are usually around, but it may take some time to catch one of their attention. There aren’t usually any long delays or long waits either.

The food is not great, they triple your order of everything, they drown every roll in spicy mayo, things either taste undercooked or overseasoned to drown out the negatives.
Worse, they add a mandatory 18% tip AND add extra charges for no reason. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU LIKE TO EAT FOOD. You have been warned.
Before the bill came this place would have been 3 stars because some of their special rolls are good, but nothing great.

We regularly visit River Japanese Cuisine and every time the experience is amazing. Their menu variety is extensive and fantastic, but will definitely recommend the “All You Can Eat” as it’s well worth it. The servers are every nice and helpful; explained all the selection that was offered. The food itself is always consistent and great quality.
