This is a great place to go to and is well-kept in terms of maintenance and handicapped spacing and walkways as well as handicap parking and it leads you to the back and you can get to the restrooms if you are handicapped, public bathroom, shaded areas to order and eat your food in, and beautiful landscaping. They’re so friendly and nice here and it’s in a great location and they’re very fast and prompt and all of their services and methods to pay and order are up to date from a technological standpoint. All the workers are kind and patient and your meal is served in a timely manner.

I’ve always used the Sonic app and today I thought I would try the Sonic double smasher for $1.00 thru the app.
I’ve always ordered through the app. My gift card used to be loaded in the app, but somehow a recent app update they’ve made removed it and my order history.
I still have money on the gift card, so I tried adding my gift card back to the app and it kept giving me an error that said “We couldn’t save the gift card. Please try again later.”
I even tried deleting the app and re-added it and it still gave the same error.
So I went to the Sonic Drive-in on Flower Mound road in Flower Mound Texas. I told the attendant the error I was getting and that I wanted to order the Sonic Double Smasher for $1.00 in the app.
She said I’d have to order it through the app. I explained the error I was getting in the app and my futile attempts on getting it to work and she said they can’t help me. Even the manager told me the same thing. I left frustrated.
So I guess when you have a “buggy” app, some places are just not worth the effort to even go to, not even for a $1.00 sandwich special offer. If it looks like it’s too good to be true, it most likely is.
I’m glad there are better choices around than a Sonic Drive-in.

Service was good. We order 2 drinks of which one was a Route 44 carbonated water with cherry and lemon. The lemons were dropped into the drink without being squeezed. It would have made a much better drink if the lemons were squeezed.

Not sure why it is so hard to get fresh food.. my tater tots tonight we’re rock hard. Looks like they were refried to sell because they had been sitting.. I come to this location often and it’s gotten to be a 50/50 chance that I’ll have fresh made food. Wish I could upload the picture I took of them, they look like fried chicken and shattered into piece when I bit into them.. not very happy with the quality of food at this location.

Disgusting. Tater tots sitting in a bowl of oil with huge chunks of old fried stuff. Repulsive. Chicken strips old/overcooked/hard. I got a refund and ate elsewhere. Absolutely repulsive.
