My partner loves this food and in all honesty, whenever she sends me to get her patties w coco bread, I don’t have to wait long. The place could use a revamp to make it look cleaner. It is what it is for what they serve. If you like Jamaican patties, this is the spot for a quick pick up.

You all need to stop selling old food. The chicken tasted off, also looked like it was reheated over and over. For a lg food the rice was like 6 spoonful. Food is not tasty like before. The tastiest thing was the plantain. Start over.

I ordered fried whiting fish. They served me old fish. It was hard and couldn’t even bite into it. Was sooo disgusting. And then the ladies behind the counter are sooo damn rude and unfriendly. Poor service and food. The worst golden Krust I ever been to.

Extremely poor service. I mean literally horrible. I placed an order through Grubhub but it was cancelled. I called the store and the phone was handed to the person who receives orders. She kept saying the electricity went out and she didn’t understand the request of the order. I simply asked for gravy over rice and I placed a side order for Mac and cheese using the rice option because there was no other option. I was bombarded over the phone when I simply asked why someone didn’t call to clarify. She then told me to reorder but closed the Grubhub system so that the order would not come through. Horrible. This was Saturday. I’m sure they are in church today acting holy. My order was almost $100. I simply ordered from another store which was so seamless. How can people which such attitudes and lack emotional intelligence get such jobs? What is going on in America!!?

The service sucks & the ladies behind the counter are nasty. I ordered two large ox tails and I will never do that again. The rice is so bland it has no flavor. The oxtails taste like nothing as well and there’s so much fat on them. Usually when I go to Golden crust the food is pretty good, not specifically this one but in general. If I could give them no stars I would!

Let me tell you! I’m from Jamaica and I never expect the oxtail here to tun up so!! Best $11 I’ve spent in a long time! The serving was plentiful for leftovers which is always good. The meat was tender and juicy and it went well with the flavorful rice. I’m not sure what experience everyone else had but I loved it, they were not rude but very helpful. The cashier didn’t even want to serve me soup as it didn’t have enough meat, I’ll be back though. Also usually at a Jamaican restaurant everyone packed at the cashier shouting orders, here there was a line and though there was a wait it was worth it. My coworker bought me the stew peas one Tuesday and that too tasted very good. I’ll be going back!

The customer service here is very poor. The web shows that your store opens at 7:30am. When I got there, the door was closed and there was a worker by the cash machine. Who looked at me and turn away and when I make a hand signal to her she started to argue. Other times I’ve been there, one of the women up front is always so rude and rushing the order. Spoil of appetite.

The food, as usual, was terrific. Their jerk chicken is among the best, as is their Mac & cheese. The service is always friendly and professional.
