What an incredible experience at Cositas Ricas! The food was absolutely delicious — super authentic Colombian flavors that instantly brought me back to my hometown. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and cooked to perfection.
The restaurant itself was very clean, well-organized, and inviting. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable the moment you walk in — perfect for families and especially kid-friendly.
I want to give a special shout-out to our amazing servers, Luis and Lulu. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We came with our baby, and they were so helpful — offering advice, helping us with his food, and making several trips just to check in and make sure everything was perfect. I know this restaurant was good years ago, not anymore. We ate there yesterday and everything went wrong, we were trying to get something fast before work but the food took forever to arrive, something simple like empanadas shouldn’t take that long. Plus they were all burnt. Not coming back to this place anytime soon. Owners please focus on service, prep time and costumer service.

Came here for the first time, and I loved it! I had the chicken empanadas with the hot salsa (very delicious). I also had the churro donut, sooo good! And I love the buñuelos. The prices aren’t bad at all. I will be back here for my lunch breaks. Oh, also Valentina fue súper amable! Gracias!

Good food on a good day but that’s not always the case. Services is typically standoffish. Prices for pastry case aren’t posted and receipts aren’t itemized. Two empanadas, two pan de bonos and a Coke for $18. My empanadas took about 15 min, there were two other people there so not sure why the wait. They looked and tasted like they had been fried again from an older batch. Not fresh and the filling was all mush. Pan de bonos are some of the best in town but not worth the hassle considering the rest of the experience.

The problems started with the service; it was incredibly slow, leading to an unacceptably long wait for our order. The customer service itself was also disappointing and sluggish.
When the food finally arrived, the quality was truly disgusting. The main complaint was the chicken, which was completely overcooked and dry, almost inedible.
The side dishes were equally poor: the beans were watery, offering no flavor or substance, and the rice looked and tasted like a paste.
To top off this terrible meal and poor service—which I had to pay for in full—we were then overcharged on the bill. After enduring such a disappointing experience, the overcharge was the final insult.
I am thoroughly disheartened by this establishment and their lack of quality control and decent customer service. I do not recommend this place and will certainly not be recommending it to anyone.

Amazing restaurant! The service was truly 10/10. My food was delicious, and I really appreciate the new admin here. The manager was super nice and made sure I had everything I needed. The waitresses were also very helpful and attentive. Overall, a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I am re-reviewing this place after it changing over to new ownership. This atmosphere as well as the workers are much more inviting now than with the previous owner. I didn’t have to wait a long time for them to take my order and they were super kind and professional. I ordered an Arepa con queso, sweet plantains, One egg over medium. Everything was cooked as it should be and tasted wonderful. I will keep coming back. Sorry, my picture doesn’t showcase the food super well I was really hungry before I remembered to take the picture
