This review is for the location on Theodore st in crest hill! This was beyond the worst Chinese food I’ve had the displeasure of having! The crab Rangoon’s were curdled like cottage cheese! The lomein noodles were thin and the beef was rancid! The whole meal was old and funky, I reached out to the manager , he claimed to have no control over the images not matching the actual food! And claimed that the food was made fresh to order! No way fresh quality food takes 5-10min t make!! Wasted nearly 30 bucks on trash! And that’s exactly where it went!

After moving to the area and the decline of the quality of my usual Chinese place, we tried this place. The food was absolutely delicious, im a creature of habit so our food order is always the same so I can’t speak to the many other things on the menu. But, the chicken fried rice, beef kow, sweet and sour chicken and chop suey are fantastic. Its been 8 years and its still the best place around for Chinese. Fantastic food!!! Very fair prices and you get a lot of food for your money! The staff are very friendly and the food was served super fast. I ordered food for 2 adults and one child and I waited less than 10 min. I Absolutely recommend China House Crest Hill if you’re looking for a good Chinese takeout restaurant!

Not the prettiest place you’ll visit (inside or out) – they’ve closed their dining room, and seem to be using the space for storage.
With that said, it still seemed clean, and although it’s take-out only, the service was top-notch.
The food – much better than the Dragon place down the street – in price, quality, and quantity.
A nice touch is that instead of throwing a few packets of sauces in the bag, they’ve pre-packaged several of each, and a couple fortune cookies, in a small bag – so much easier than fishing around for the packets, or dumping the bag along with some kernels of rice.
