I can’t believe that I’ve lived in town for almost 30 years and I’ve never been here. I normally think of Pizza King of bring expensive but they’ve got specials on the menu and everything was reasonably priced. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was all hot and fresh.

I ordered a meat feast pizza with extra cheese on top. Got charged for it and what did my pizza not have, extra cheese. I had two orders of breadsticks I expected each order to have a cheese cup and then ordered an extra cheese cup. Did I have that extra cheese cup, no. What my receipt says and what I picked up are two different things. I will no longer go to this establishment since the staff isn’t able to get an order correct. See attached photos also.

The guy working the register was SO helpful and nice! He asked the manager how to split the bill and she couldn’t have been more less friendly I felt bad for him! Hopefully at some point this location gets a better manager.

Very disappointed in the manager tonight 8/14. We called and ordered for delivery. We order here all the time. When ordering we were asked if we wanted to leave a tip for the driver. We did. We wait an hour and 15 minutes before we call only for the manager to get extremely rude saying how it was for takeout and it had been sitting at the store. We tipped the driver, why would it be takeout. The manager proceeds to get more angry asking what we wanted her to do about it. Like can we please get it delivered? She proceeds to tell us that she has new trainees but she was so irritated. Never once apologized. And insinuated that we needed to come pick up the pizza. We kindly asked if we could get it delivered (and remade since it was sitting out for 1+ hour not to our fault, but due to the fault of the trainee which she admitted) since we already paid for the driver, she just says yep. And hangs up. Now… when did customer service get so hard? I was in customer service for ten years and would never have talked to a customer like that. Completely ridiculous. Mostly kids work here and don’t know how to treat anyone .
Update ; after two hours of waiting, we got a cold burnt pizza. Beyond annoyed to pay high dollar for this. Would’ve been better off going to a different chain for a third of the cost.

I just want to thank Jessie who helped me a few days back. I’m a Hoosier born and raised 35yrs, but I have moved to NC about 14 years ago. So there is a group of Hoosiers here in NC and when one of us visits Indiana, you have to bring back Pizza King!!!! Jessica was great and helping. I ordered an assortment of 12 pizzas, all 1/2 baked. Brought the pizzas back home distributed them and everyone said they were delicious and amazing. Jessie she was so sweet and kind. Thank you, Jessie. So Tuesday, everyone here in NC was eating Pizza King and we were all loving it and savor in it because we don’t know when we’ll get Pizza King again. Yes, I understand you can have them shipped, but not when the shipping and delivery is more than what you pay for the pizzas. I wish it was different because we’d order all the time.

This location has been going down hill in recent weeks. Most recently I ordered the pizza pictured, I ordered for extra cheese and as you can see, there is barely any cheese at all on it. A problem they have had for a while is if they are not on the register, they couldn’t care less that you’re standing there. They are getting to many more chances.

The young lady at the front counter was very rude to us today. My boyfriend called and asked about any deals going on right now, And the young man on the phone told him there was a deal for a personalized pizza and drinks. When we got there, there was no drinks on our order and we were asking about them and the young lady acted very upset that we were asking and then added the drinks to our order and somehow it was five dollars more. When asked about how it was five dollars more, she said that was the price with the discounts in elaborated no more. We were also shorted a breadstick. All in all the young man was very apologetic and she didn’t speak a word to us after she got upset we were asking about our receipt. Was already hesitant about coming back just because of the high prices, but unfortunately, we won’t ever be coming back again. At least to this location.
Btw we never saw any reason for the young man to apologize we were just curious why there wasn’t any drinks. I myself work in customer service & we all have bad days. But this was a little much.

Ordered 12″ pepperoni for take out. I wouldn’t serve it to anyone, let alone have the nerve to charge almost $15 for it. It was more like a tomato sauce pizza, I couldn’t find the pepperoni. Pizza King/ their frachises have really went down in the their quality and the quantity of their ingredients. I remember when there was just the right amount of pizza sauce, pepperoni that made it difficult to put in your mouth without it falling off. Don’t waste your money, it probably only cost a couple of $ to make. Last Pizza King pizza I will ever purchase.

We sat in the dinning room and waited an hour for a 10in pizza. It wasn’t even busy , but during my wait I watched the same delivery driver leave 3 times with pizza. Pizza finally came and hardly had any cheese or sauce. This was an absolutely horrible dinner experience.
