We were early for a hair appointment so we went for a coffee and snack .
I got some orange scones and they were delicious, I wish I didn’t get so many but they were delicious . I should have thought to freeze them but sometimes I don’t remember to.
The coffee was yummy
I will certainly stop there again.

Good service! The young woman who took my order was very friendly and helpful.
The bear claw I ordered tasted processed but okay. Every bite, the frosting and almonds fell off. Coffee ☕ tasted okay.
Update: June 2025; Ordered online. The Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich , Bistro, Onion Soup and Chocolate Chipper Cookie were good .
The inside has plenty of seating. Comfortable armchairs. Fireplace and WiFi available.
Enroll in the rewards program. It can lead to free food.
I liked this Panera Bread. If you like Panera, then it’s worth a visit.

Not sure what happened to this location. I went here on and off when I first moved to NH a few years ago and they were great. Now? The place is filled with messy tables, bathroom is extremely dirty with toilet paper all over the floors. Food is okay-Hit or miss depending on the day. It makes me question the quality of the food when they can’t manage the atmosphere and cleaniness of the restaurant. Sad to see because I really liked coming here.

I’m not a fan of the new kiosk-heavy process—but honestly, that part can be overcome. What can’t be ignored is the attitude shift. When I asked for a real mug instead of a disposable cup, I got a sideways look from food prep staff like I’d asked for something unreasonable.

That’s a shame, because this place used to be packed at 9am. Now it’s noticeably quieter—and it’s not hard to see why. Most of those former regulars are probably over at Pressed Café, where customer service still seems to matter.

Credit where it’s due: the avocado toast is solid. I’ll give that 4 stars.

But service matters. Culture matters.
VC ownership may have optimized the process, but it clearly drained the soul.

Do better, Panera.

Double check your orders, picked food up for my house. Get home and get ready to eat, only to find my sandwich was poorly made. I ordered a chicken blt avocado sandwich. I had 2 leafs of lettuce. No bacon and no Avocado. I’m 40 minutes away from this store they tell me to go back to have it remade. This should not have happened to begin with. The receipt is signed that it was checked, clearly it wasn’t.

For many years I have been a very satisfied customer of Panera Bread in Bedford NH. The selection of soups, sandwiches, breads, and pastries is extensive, and the fresh baked breads are especially appealing. Service is courteous and efficient. Ambience is casual and family friendly, perfect for enjoying a meal or relaxing with coffee and pastry. Panera Bread is a fine community cafe.

Deli turkey, couple slices in the bravo sandwich. Overall meh. $5 kitchen sink cookie that tasted like the sink. Chicken soup that tastes like it came from the grocery store can. Zero customer service. And all this can be yours $37 for two at lunch. This place went from hero to zero. So sad.

We had not been to Panera for some time and were very disappointed when we went for coffee, bagel, and pastry for almost $16. The redecorating is stark and cold. I miss the coziness of the comfy chairs by the fireplace. The booths have been redesigned and do not give the privacy they once did.
With all that said, I had the worst bagel I can remember (and I buy store bought ones. ). It had very little substance and was tasteless.

I had always loved Panera, but that Panera is gone. We won’t be returning.

Pretty good Panera experience. Food was prepared well and quickly. Staff was super friendly!

Panera menu is sandwiches, salads, soups and baked goods. Nothing suuuuuper healthy, but good fast food in a pinch.

Went to Panera today with my daughter for lunch and we decided to have tuna. She had the half tomato soup and tuna value duet. I chose to have a whole tuna sandwich on baguette with lettuce and tomato and onion and a bowl of soup. I literally got a heaping tablespoon of tuna on my sandwich Such a shame for the price that you pay. I really hope they could correct this issue as I’ve read some other reviews and I see that they’re a little skimpy on the portion for the price. The coffee machine was great and the people were lovely. The place was very clean even the bathroom. I do hope they improve the portions of food that they give.
