Next time I’ll remember to drive another 5miles for the next McDonald’s.
“hamburger university” manager training should emphasize on. Mc donalds has a 2 year management training program for reasons and this manager obviously doesnt take anything but $$. Yes I, understand that your ticket times have to go under 5-6 minutes is part of your targeted goal. But this manager chose to instead of fix her coworker or employees mistake, decided to intruct the customer circle around… and order the item that was repeated 3 times to the order taker to place on the order… my response to this manager was so you want me to drive around wait 6-7 cars in for a mcflurry that was mistakenly forgotten by the restaurant (that you choose not to mix by the way, every single time…)… mind you i had another mcflurry for my husband and food in the car.. so wait easily 20 minutes for a 1 minute fill of a cup and a 1 minute transaction… (all in the preameters of your ticket times) I explained by that time all my food would be cold and the ice-cream I did have would have been melted. I was refused.
This is not the first time this specific manager chooses to put mistakes of employees on customers. I’ve witnessed it to happen others and have had it happen so many times to myself that this needs to be addressed. You may be the only McDonald’s in a 30 minute radius but that does not justify poor management and very poor customer service. Ownship of this location should consider re-training management or promoting or hiring someone else who actually understands the hospitality of the Mc Donalds way.
