The overall food quality was poor and not what we expected. What made the experience worse was the service. We were barely acknowledged when we walked in, had to wait to be assisted, and were ignored when trying to get basic attention at the table. The check wasn’t even brought to us — we had to go up to the counter ourselves.
The bill was extremely expensive for what was supposed to be a lunch special, and pricing was not clearly communicated. Gratuity was added without clear notice, and we were still prompted to leave an additional tip.
Overall, a very disappointing experience and not worth the price.
This place is beyond phenomenal! The food is absolutely delicious, authentic, and exquisitely prepared — true, original Colombian flavors that feel like home with every bite.
The owner, Ruth, is truly top-notch. She greets you with warmth, unmatched hospitality, and the kind of positive energy that instantly makes you feel like family. Her service is consistently outstanding and elevates the entire experience.
If you’re in White Plains, THIS is a must-stop restaurant. A vibrant, flavorful, joyful dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!
I ate the Bandeja Paisa and it was DELICIOUS.
I definitely recommend five out of five stars.
The store environment is clean.
I asked to dine in, the cashier lady charged 18% tip without telling me, and the monitor shows “add tip”. If I didn’t pay attention while she was using register I would end up paying double tips. The food in picture including tips is $39 (Fresh orange juice $8/cup).
Was allowed to use restroom which is a plus.
