Every time I go into this location after 7, the manager guy is rude, dismissive and plays too much. I walked into this location at 8:15 ish. They close at 10! I’ll attach the photos of how the food was. He then says we’re out of chips, corn and it was a few other things. Mind you it’s only 8:30 pm!! I said I’ll just take queso. The food was not being heated and my queso was cold!! They need to do better, I get they are trying to go home, but to be closing the store at 8:30 and you close at 10, is not a good look! Do better!

I’ve visited this Chipotle many times, usually around dinner time, and these issues are consistent. The employees are typically not friendly and often make you feel like you’re a bother rather than a valued customer. The restaurant is frequently dirty, with trash cans overflowing and the dining area poorly maintained. In addition, they are regularly out of multiple menu items, even during peak dinner hours. At this point, you would honestly be better off driving the extra 10 minutes to the next Chipotle than coming to this location. This has been an ongoing problem, and I would not recommend this location.

I just can’t even eat here anymore. A few bites in until I realized the chicken wasn’t fully cooked. Yes…slimy and chewy, that bad. Ughhh I’m done. Too many problems with this one location.

I am always so disappointed when I come here.
This visit m, is my last.

I actually think I’ve left a review before but considering I worked at Chipotle on the line in college, this location is AWFUL.

No one who works there, wants to be there and they make sure we all know it based off the lack of customer service.

No one ever greets customers, when you get to the line, it’s fine that we have to wait but dang, acknowledge the customer.

I know what the serving sizes should be and it genuinely PISSES me off how consistently they put the WAY WRONG amounts of food in my bowls, tacos etc.

Like I’ll get a pile of rice and 4 pieces of steak. Anyone who eats here knows how small the meats are cut, I’m always looking at my food confused if these workers are looking at the same bowl.

On top of that, none of them have any interest in hospitality.

This is a consistent issue and it sucks because even after working at Chipotle, it’s a company I still enjoyed being a customer at.

Middletown, come on.

Geez.

The workers are not very accommodating to individuals with food allergies. What happened to this location? Used to be the best and would treat us (my daughter) really good. Now they don’t even change gloves or wash hands after explaining my daughter’s severe food allergies. The worker tonight acted like I was dumb by asking if there was a backup container since the meat was contaminated with an allergen. Disappointing! We chose not to order anything.

First off Chipotle is awesome…This location is not. Worst customer service ever received at a chipotle. Stingy on ingredients, I shouldn’t have to ask for you to actually fill up the spoon with rice. Literally shook off the spoon for every ingredient they added. Wrapping skills were terrible, ends weren’t folded and tucked, like come on you already barely put anything in the tortilla just tuck the ends!

By the end of the line my burrito was the size of an El Nopal enchilada and not the Chipotle I’ve come to know and love. By the time I sat down the whole burrito was cold and tasted like no seasoning. Tepid and bland.

SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION THAT CARES!

Honestly, the food was good, but when me and my two friends went there, they immediately said that it would take about 10 minutes for chicken to be out. It was later upped to 30 minutes. They were also out of chips and the coworkers were honestly quite crass to each other and it troubled the customers. It was also completely empty, and now we know why.

Do not eat at this place. It’s a hot mess. There is no emphasis on service at all. This place was empty, the service was extremely slow with only 1 person cooking and making bowls. We had to clean a table off so we could sit down somewhere and it was 3pm. They had 4 workers, which only 2 were working. I’m not quite sure what the manager was managing but he wasn’t keeping his store clean. The food was exactly what you would expect, the place was just trashed.

It was a Wednesday night. My daughter and I had a hankering for a burrito bowl & opted for this popular franchise eatery.

Sadly, the help behind the counter was less than excited to be at work on this lovely Wednesday evening. The young lad who took the initial order, whom we will call Bozo, lethargically scooped the requested beans, meats & treats with an enthusiasm level that would make your local DMV clerk blush. To top it off, I asked Bozo if the promoted limited time Carne Asada was as good as advertised. Bozo replied with great snark, “I would hope so”. Bozo then informed me they were out of the advertised limited time chimichurri sauce. No offer to check the back for some or apologize. Just “we’re out”.

We were then met by another lazy face working the check register who couldn’t bother to speak above 8-9 decibels. A repeated series of “I’m sorry, what?” followed by more mumbling ensued, causing a cascade of confusion and frustration. This delightful ragtag crew was clearly checked out. I do hope these young folks stay in school & keep their grades up, because I don’t think the burrito industry is in their long term future.

I can accept less than 5-star service if the food is fresh & delicious. Unfortunately for the Middletown Chipotle, it seems to be against company policy to refill meat & topping containers. Virtually all of the meat trays sadly lingered in neglect. Dried sauce caked the sides of the stainless steel receptacles in which they were housed. At the bottom sat a half dozen or so lonely chunks of chicken, steak or pork, drying under the oppressive heat of warming lamps. A vat of runny pico de gallo languished unattended and unfreshened. The guacamole was beginning to get the familiar brown sheen associated with exposure to unrefrigerated air. I ordered double meat and received a portion size that would barely overflow a Dixie cup.

Wells Fargo recently conducted research on something like 75 identical burrito bowl orders in New York. They found portion variance as much as 33% in their study. After a $38 to go dinner for two of less-than-full bowls & an order of chips & queso (of which we were given no chips & the queso was not hot and appears to be made of artificial cheese) I can safely say I won’t be a repeat customer of the Middletown Chipotle.

First time ever at any Chipotle. I usually go to Qdoba but since I was in the area, thought I’d finally try it. Just as I suspected, just like Qdoba, pretty much the same, although I was charged for queso, which I thought was wild, and for that, I won’t be back
