Reviews
Only complaint is they could use more security in the parking lot- we had two different people approached us with our small children. Asking if we had food. Made us feel very uneasy and skeptical of what was happening. Really wish they would monitor the parking lot closer so we could feel safer with or without our kids around.
We usually head to Ballpark Village for the high-energy gameday atmosphere, but our most recent visit was for a quiet Sunday lunch with family in town, and it was a fantastic change of pace. After spending the morning at the Arch, Bally Sports Live! was exactly what we needed.
The Atmosphere
Even on a “quiet” day, the setup here is impressive. As hockey fans, we were delighted to find the Pittsburgh Penguins game featured on the massive big screen—it’s easily one of the best places in the city to catch a game, even when the local teams aren’t playing. Since it wasn’t a gameday crowd, we were able to get “cozied up” in a spacious booth, which was perfect for keeping the kids comfortable and contained.
The Food & Value
For a group of five, our bill came out to around $160, which we felt was very fair for the quality of the food and the prime location.
• Must-Order: The shrimp tacos were the standout of the meal—highly recommend giving those a try!
• Overall: Everything we ordered was good, and the service was attentive without the usual gameday rush.
Verdict
If you’re looking for a spot with plenty of room to breathe on slow sports days and great sports viewing, don’t overlook this place. It’s a reliable stop for a meal in the heart of downtown.
The food was ok but mainly felt like the only flavor they know is salt.
The coleslaw was cabbage and carrots…maybe vinegar was near it or something.
Service was lackluster. Felt like nobody wanted to be here and it took forever.
Atmosphere is kind of cool but I would definitely head somewhere else if given the option.
The staff was friendly and efficient, and the manager, Nick, was a great host. He checked in with guests throughout the day and really helped set the tone for a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
Between the electric energy, the ability to watch Redzone with sound, solid food and drinks, and great service, this has definitely become my go-to spot for Sundays. Can’t wait to be back next week!
The setup here is honestly one of the best I’ve seen. The massive 65-foot screen makes every game feel bigger, and no matter where you’re sitting, the view and sound are solid. The food was great, the drinks were cold, and the entire place was clean even with a big crowd coming in and out.
The staff deserves credit too — quick, friendly, and really on top of things all night.
If you’re looking for a place to watch St. Louis teams or catch a big fight without any hassle, this is easily the best spots in Ballpark Village. Highly recommend.
The food is not very good. He had wings, that were saturated in sauce and seemed to be breaded instead of flash fried. The celery looked like it was Three days old and was very warm. I Ordered the fish tacos, rubbery and had a synthetic taste. My colleague had a Caesar salad and it was just OK.
The highlight of our visit was our server Lizzie. She was very attentive, friendly and informative about everything on the menu and helped us with the game that we wanted to see on the screen closest to where we were sitting
Could be a really great place if the food was up to par.
