This place was so amazing in so many ways. Nice quiet ambience with some calm music. The food was so delicious We have had Ethiopian food before but coming here definitely blew it out of the park. So great, the Sambusas and we got the Bahlawi (Traditional) Platter – Special for 3. I wouldn’t have eaten so much but the food was so damn good that we couldnt resist but to take our time and eat everything on our plate. My wife and I enjoyed the drawing on the table cover, we must never let go of the child like wonder within us. I’d also like to mention my wife and I went to sit down and eat at around 7:20pm and they said they closed at 8pm we sat and enjoy and we looked at the time it was 8:30pm and the gentleman told us to take our time and eat. We left around 8:50pm and another costomer came in looking to eat aswell and the gentlemen had no problem In serving the lady aswell. What a great place! Hospitality on a 1000% and Food quality and taste 1000% Thank you Guys so much for making the night wonderful for my wife and I. It was all great. MAY THE BLESSINGS BE.

My friend and I are on a journey to try every kind of cuisine we can. We found this place and really enjoyed it! It’s small, but cozy, with a pleasant atmosphere. She had the derek tips and I had the chicken tips. Our server (I didn’t get his name but he was fantastic) asked how spicy I wanted my chicken, then offered to bring me extra spice on the side when I wasn’t sure. The food was amazing, and the prices were really reasonable. We’ll definitely be back.

No longer a vegan restaurant. They are merging with Flame that have a lot of nonvegan options. Still have a few vegan options, but not labeled. The chef was very friendly and helpful though. He still was able to whip up a nice lentil and rice dish. We really appreciated how nice the chef was about it. He really tried for us.

The food was fantastic, and the owner was incredibly welcoming! You can tell each dish is prepared with genuine care and love. The flavors were delicious, and the atmosphere was peaceful, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Even with our large group, everyone left feeling more than satisfied. The cleanliness was impressive, and the food was not only tasty but also healthy—I felt great after dining here! I highly recommend this place to everyone, 100%!

Our experience was truly remarkable and absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, the owner warmly welcomed us at our table with a bright smile and a cheerful demeanor. They exuded warmth and friendliness, instantly making us feel at home. The atmosphere was inviting, and it set the perfect tone for what turned out to be a fantastic meal.

This is a quaint spot not close to a lot going on in Columbus. The waiter was super friendly. Compared to other Ethiopian food I’ve had though it wasn’t the best flavor or value. The veggies were kind of watery, and the tofu and lentils didn’t taste like much aside from some spice. There was only one other table there and it took almost 30 minutes for my food to come out.

What more to say except that the food was excellent, the owner incredibly kind and I felt great afterwards. The injera is gluten-free and made in house. They also make their own injera chips which are crunchy and delicious with a nice little spice kick. I’ll bring more folks next time so I can try even more of the stews!

You get plenty of food for the price you pay, and all the stews are just divine. I’ve yet to try a meat dish, but I’m sure it will be just as good.
The boss is personable and will try his best to make you feel welcome, even sparking small talk if there aren’t many people eating in.

Super chill place serving delicious vegan Ethiopian food. I had the Half Garden Plate which gets you 5 of their hot stews and 2 portions of injera. I chose the beet vegetable medley, okra and red lentils, mushroom, yellow split peas and curry vegetable medley.
Everything was delicious, with the curry and okra ending up my favourites. The portions are very generous so be sure to come with an appetite.
Siyum the owner told me he’s been at this location for 5 years after previously operating out of a smaller space in the OSU campus. Y’all, he moved to have more room and parking for his customers. I think you know what to do. Run over there and show some love, NOW.

Delicious made from scratch with whole ingredients. Super friendly and I love their dining room. I was so glad when I heard that Vegan only makes gluten-free injera now! I live on the north side and it’s worth the drive
