Had a great first experience at Nathan’s! The food was honestly outstanding. They’ve got some unique and creative menu items, which really makes them stand out. They also know how to do a smash burger right! The staff were kind and welcoming. Whether you’re a local or a Summer lake visitor, this is a must-try spot! Excited to have them here at Rathbun Lake!

I recently visited Nathan’s lakeside grill, and I was genuinely impressed. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.
The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I especially loved the brisket in pound. which I would highly recommend to anyone visiting. I’ll definitely be coming back!

My family was in Iowa for a family reunion and we had dinner. There were 14 of us. The service was amazing and quick. The chef and owner cooked our meals and it was perfect in every way. The people were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We will definitely be back and the owners Nathan and Christy are doing an awesome job.

This place is surprisingly small inside & between the exhaust fan, music & TV it’s hard to hear anything & this was when it wasn’t even busy. We ordered our food to go & ate outside. Smashburgers are good. Should have ordered it w/lettuce, tomato, onion but thats just my preference. Fries were very, very soggy. Will try again for sure but 100% will be to go.

Went there tonight while visiting Rathbun with extended family. We had 12 people and it was no problem for them. Service was fantastic and the food was equally as good. Definitely recommend this place if staying in or around Rathbun.
