Out to dinner with the Missus again, quickly seated by the hostess, as four or five waitstaff buzzed around, we waited maybe 10 minutes and I mentioned that it looked like we were seated in a no help zone, again…and as I finished my comment the waitress appeared and apologized that she had a large party in another section, she was very friendly quickly served us. The perch dinner was top notch, the missus reuben sandwich was a bit too bland. If you are on the north end of Alpena stop in and give them a try.

We had the michigan salad with chicken and raspberry vinegarette. And the chicken and pineapple quesadilla. Both were really good.
Another visit 6-11-25
I had the cod dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and side salad, it was very good! Light beer batter breading meaty cod. Garlic mashed potatoes were real and yummy. Might have wanted a little gravy, but I didn’t ask; they were still good. He had prime rib open faced sandwich with fries and coleslaw. He said it was good. Our service was excellent as well. Posting menu photos too.

Here we are again, it’s my birthday and this was my choice for a birthday dinner! We got the appetizer platter it had mushrooms, jalapeño poppers, and cheese stix with homemade ranch. They were all very good. My husband got the deep fried cod and roasted potatoes with cottage cheese. I got the bourbon steak bowl, it was really good! Next time I might get the sauce on the side, it was really good but just a little too saucy at the bottom of the bowl.
We had a new waitress, she was wonderful!!

The salad was phenomenal. Every part of it was so fresh and the bread was perfect. My son had the mac & cheese and chicken strips, which was equally phenomenal. I wish I lived closer so I can go here more often

Staff was amazing. Our waitress was very pleasant and prompt. I got fajitas and they were not good. Very bland, did not taste like fajitas at all. Grilled chicken was dry and did not taste seasoned, onions were still hard, tortillas stale, no refried beans included. Salsa was not my taste specifically because it lacked cilantro and was more like a tomato sauce. I am scared to come back, I’m so sorry. Also very overpriced for very average food.

Great server! Food was good. Large sandwich we could have split. Took a lot of the food back to the hotel. Tasted good, just too much for us to eat. The onion rings are amazing. The finest crumb on the crispy breaded coating with wide slice onions rounds. The size of the rings was not due to think I’m ready coating. The size was because the onion was large Crispy outside, cooked just beyond tender crisp in the onion itself.
If I lived here, I would include this restaurant as one of my regular stops.

I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, but we’ve been there dozens of times & brisket tacos sounded phenomenal; so I tried them. I’m not sure if it was the sauce, plus the pickled onions or what, but I have never fallen in love with a taco like that. The street taco’s with brisket ARE TO DIE FOR!!!! OMG!!!!! 20 out of 10!!!!! & Etta is always on point, on time & is always the best waitress. That place would be lacking without her!!!! She knows what’s going on always & is the best! ❤️ Thank you all for an amazing dinner!!!

Stepped in here around 6:30 for dinner. It was busy but we were seated right away. The staff was very kind and helpful. If we had questions the food was really good. It was more of a barish atmosphere but great place for a quick dinner

Decent food at decent prices. We ate here before leaving town. I had the Rubin with a side of ring. The rinds are huge, greasy, and taste great. My Rubin had a nice, marbled rye. My only complaint would be the dressing, it was a little on the sweet side.

Typical restaurant charging the upper price but providing second rate food.
Prime rib priced as “market price” was not a good cut or prepared correctly. Afraid to send it back as we were constantly reminded how “understaffed “ they were. (As if that was the customers fault)

Great place with a variety on their menu! Our waitress was absolutely AMAZING and the food was good. They had Chicago style pizza as a special and it was delicious!
