My salad was just OK today. The menu (screen capture from their site attached) offered a Strawberry Feta salad, and I added the grilled chicken also listed on the menu. My friend and I were not initially in a hurry, but his wife called to say she was done shopping right after my salad was delivered. After a few bites of the salad (pictured), I got to the chicken below the feta, only to discover it was both cold and clearly not grilled. It rendered the entire salad average at best, compared to the dozens of very similar salads I’ve had all over the country since being more careful with my diet in the past 15 years.
I hurried to eat so that we could meet my friend’s wife who was now waiting for us. I mentioned the problem to the server at the end of the meal, indicating that I was a disappointed, but wasn’t sure if I remembered the actual menu description of the chicken correctly. I gave her my credit card at that time, so we could get moving. After what seemed like an extended time to process the charge, she returned with no comment on what I now know was a glaring menu error, handed me the charge slip and pen, and then rapidly moved on to take other orders.
If I’d have had more time, I’d have addressed it much earlier, so that’s on me. Still, I’m disappointed that it wasn’t addressed by either the server or a manager after the suspected error was brought to her attn, especially given the time it took to run the charge card.
My ratings are generally quite good, and I think this one fairly reflects my disappointment with an establishment that I know can do much better. The atmosphere was good, with a musician who did a great job with a variety of songs.
I’m not sure if I’ll return to Lucy’s, but if I do, I’ll make darned good and sure my food matches the menu’s description!

Had a great dinner on the patio with live music. Even though it was hot and humid it felt nice back there. Felt like service was well-paced, cocktails were good and we all enjoyed our meals. 2 had the pesto chicken bowls and said they were very good. 1 had the strawberry feta salad and same compliments. I had the Summer Breeze (chicken salad sandwich) and it was pretty good. Not the best chicken salad I’ve ever had, but the cheese & honey mustard plus sourdough gave it good flavor, and the portion was huge! Also, big fan of the change of chips from what they used to provide!

Great local place to visit! An A+++ on the Christmas decor! We had the most WONDERFUL waitress today, Johnny. Great service is hard to find and she was so personable without feeling awkward. Connected with my kids even and made them feel special. Keep it up! Great good and great service.

We visited on a busy saturday during peak hours and were still served promptly. The staff was incredibly attentive to our needs and the place was running smoothly despite being so slammed. We didnt have to wait long to be seated or to get our food. Simply amazing. My little baby got to sit at the high chair and munch on pasta with us. What a nice place. Also, the BBQ chicken flatbread…whoever decided to add cilantro to that…God in heaven that was insanity. Well done.

Took a friends recommendation and headed to Lucy’s in Grand Haven, worth the trip, great service , nice little place, the food was good. I would repeat.

Went on a very busy Thursday(great drink discounts). Sky was an amazing bar tender. Food was DE-lish! We had the daily soup (lemon chicken), the Goat Cheese Bliss appetizer and Fall Chop Salad. All was wonderful but the Goat Cheese Bliss was a surprise highlight. This is one of our favorite places to eat. We love the music, the food and the service.

We met for a girls night and enjoyed the Thirsty Thursday specials! We tried all of the appetizers-they were very generous portions and everything tasted great. The cocktails and wine pours were good as well. We also had a lovely server who was very friendly and attentive! We will definitely return.

On vacation from Scotland we chose to dine here purely by chance, we had parked close by and a quick search revealed Lucy’s as being the closest restaurant and it also had good reviews. We visited midweek in July and had no issue in getting a table for two. Indoors was quiet but outside where we dined was quite busy. The staff were very attentive and friendly and our order was taken promptly. There was a bit of a bit of a wait for food to be served but that I don’t mind if it is worth the waiting for and it certainly was. The BBQ chicken flatbread I had didn’t seem all that bigger than a standard 12” pizza but man I had difficulty in finishing it, but I did, just! Also thought the price was more than reasonable. I would certainly recommend.

Updating review! This place has been remodeled since I was here last. It was delicious several years ago, and just as delicious today. Outstanding food and service, creative menu, a must try in the area! Only bad thing about this place is that they aren’t close to where I live! Keep up the awesome work here!
