The highlight of our visit was definitely our server. She was very sweet, attentive, and did her best to take care of us, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, everything else fell short.
When we were first seated, the table was completely soaked and had a strong, unpleasant odor. It smelled like dirty dishwater, and it looked like it had been wiped down with a very dirty rag. I ended up using my own black towel to wipe the table myself because I didn’t feel comfortable. There was also someone else’s steak knife and a soiled napkin underneath the table, which was pretty gross. The menus were greasy and covered in fingerprints, and even the salt shaker had something sticky or dirty on it. I honestly didn’t want to touch anything and probably should have just left at that point.
As for the food, mine was actually pretty good and the portion size was generous. However, my fiancé’s fried steak was extremely salty, though the sides were decent. They also didn’t have any peanuts available, which was disappointing since that’s usually part of the experience.
Overall, with so many other dining options in the area, I wouldn’t choose to come back.

The place was jumping! Quite the crowd for a Sunday night. Our server, Ayden, was ON IT! He hustled and his service timing was perfect, from drinks, to food, to follow-up, he didn’t miss a beat.
The food was, as usual, delicious and prepared perfectly.
Often, when a place gets overwhelmed the mistakes rear their ugly heads. This group in Murfreesboro seemed to be a well oiled machine and weren’t phased by the crazy amount of customers.

Today was my first Sunday off and we wanted to go eat at Texas Roadhouse. Our server Michael today was amazing! He brought us bread & refills without us asking. The servers before usually take longer to get us those things. He was a very nice gentleman. He made our day and makes me want to come back more often. 5 stars for Michael.

Normally the food is really good at TR. The service is usually lacking often short and the food is slow to arrive. This time it was the exact opposite. I ordered a full slab. I am always a little disconcerted when places bring out leftover “other halves” from other peoples order. This made me a little nervous again. The first half rack on top was cold. I tried the lower one at it was pretty warm. Not hot like I would have liked but I ate it anyway. I had intended to take half of it home for dinner the next night. I microwaved it the next day and while hot it was delicious. The baked potato and salad was very good. The man came around and asked how everything was but I only had water on the table. He never came around after I got my food. I would have told him about it.

I walk in & they sat me down pretty quick & remind yous I was one person. She took me to a table that for 2 people & when I sat down I noticed right away that the light for the table was blowen out completely very dark . Waitress came to the table ask if they could put a bulb or something at this time of the day they we’re pretty busy & almost out of tables for one person. So I ordered country fried steak with side of mashpotoes & corn . It came out it was burnt to a crisp & you actually hear in a loud restaurant like roadhouse cutting into my steak that’s how burnt it was. So I called her over & showed her my steak
