What a delight! Fun from the stoop to the seat — a delight figuring out how to enter, but rest assured they’ll come rescue you if you aren’t on your game. The cocktails are creative! We only ordered the rosemary fries, which are handy with a delightful barmaid sauce. Some of the fries weren’t fully cooked but I still enjoyed them.

The only thing that could have made this experience cooler is if “The Barber” were the “host” and THEY let you into the magic door… The food is great, and you can taste the locality, the drinks are delicious even if they have to fabricate something they weren’t expecting. The atmosphere is rock solid! A string trio or a jazz sax playing from the emergency exit space would only amplify the ambiance! 10/10 would recommend!

We had a great time at the Speakeasy Saloon! The highlight was absolutely the Skagit brussels which made the brussels accompanying the pork chop kinda meh. The peppercorn sauce on the steak poutine had just the right amount of kick! The biggest disappointment was the rock hard whipped brown butter, we had to chisel it off and couldn’t really spread it on the bread. Water refills would also have been nice.

Another great experience at the Speakeasy! Food was amazing and the blackberry spritz and fig oils fashioned were perfection!
Service was amazing, everyone was so kind and helpful.
The salmon deviled eggs were one of my favorites.

Cool prohibition era vibe. The secret entrance through the barbershop is genius.
We sat at the bar which is made out of a single piece of wood about four inches thick and has good seats with a decent spot for your feet.
There was some music playing at a low volume. I see several reviews saying it’s too loud…These people clearly haven’t been to the Texas Roadhouse.
We had a Caesar salad and an order of Shepards Pie. The Caesar was a substantial and well done.
If you’re into Shepards this is probably the best in town. Smooth mashed potatoes on top of a dark filling made up of big chunks of steak and veggies. It has a fantastic red wine and garlic flavor. This far outclasses Shawn O’Donnell’s pie which is fairly bland.
I’m definitely going back to try the brussel sprouts everyone is talking about.

We went here because we love the train wreck so our expectations were high. When you first get to
The location, it’s a non marked door with a fake barbershop door as the secondary entrance next to the bathrooms. Inside, it was packed! It’s a small place but quite popular.
I went with the smash burger which was quite good and then we choose some apps for the rest of us. The charcuterie board was good but needed a few more crackers. The steak poutine was quite good and the steak was very tender. The salad was a large portion (not a complaint)! The other item we got was the salmon deviled eggs. It comes with 4 so that means I got to have 2! HA!
Over all, the atmosphere was quite well done, service was great, and although we came across some great menu items there are more items on the menu to explore!

I guess my expectations were set at a particular level for this place, given that it’s a speakeasy. I just kind of assumed that they’d know how to make the more old school drinks like a Sidecar but they don’t. The cocktail tasted a combination of weird and bad-definitely wasn’t made right.
The food was unremarkable at best. Got the bread, which was sort of dry and ultimately annoying because it was served with rock hard butter that ripped the bread to shreds. It was a brown butter, which can be good, but this one wasn’t. Had a weird aftertaste. The bartender was nice enough to switch it out with regular butter but that tasted weird and was also hard. The caesar salad was ok, but a caesar salad is a low bar, as that’s pretty hard to mess up.
Wanted to like this place, but I just don’t. Ended up being sort of a frustrating meal overall. The atmosphere is nice, and so was the bartender, but I won’t be back.

The service is awesome! The food and drinks are so good and it’s not the same menu as your typical place. Finding and entering the Speakeasy is an experience all in itself.

My S.O. and I came here with no expectations. We were just excited to see a new restaurant in town. The restaurant is small, maybe 30 seats for butts. We were seated in a very cozy quiet corner. The seats were comfortable but they did not match up well with the table we were sitting at making eating a bit awkward. We ordered the brussel sprouts and the caprese salad for appetizers. The brussel sprouts were the highlight of the meal. The caprese salad is made with cherry tomatoes and a pesto. The toasted bread was done to a just right texture. I ordered the Jalapeno Popper Chicken Sandwich it was good but in my opinion it could be better if the chicken breast was pounded thinner rather than a one inch thick breaded chicken breast. My S.O. ordered the Smash Burger and she ate the whole thing which is not the norm. I didn’t get my half from her like I normally would have. The fries are better than Train Wreck’s fries and served with a Bearnaise Sauce. Service was great and I wish I would have made a note of our waitress’s name to give her a shout out. The atmosphere is low light and quiet. The music kind of ruined things. Rather than playing Postmodern Jukebox remixes play the actual music from the era your trying to replicate.
