First time eating at an East African restaurant. Got the number five to go! The kebabs were tender and had a delicious red sauce on them. The rice was really tasty. The salad also came with a sauce/dressing that I wish I had more of. Will have to ask for one more sauce/dressing next time. Overall, there is a lot of food on the menu that looks super good and planning to try more of it.

Excellent restaurant! I had the coconut chicken (right), and my husband had the goat (left). Both were delicious. Each came with a lime wedge for garnish as well as an incredible green sauce (not sure what it is called) on the side that had a pleasant spice level.
We had tried to order sambusas, but they didn’t have any available at the time. To my delight, the chef put a dessert in our order for free, even though we didn’t order it. The dessert was a delicious, lightly sweetened, flat dough that appeared to be pan toasted/fried. I’m not sure what it was, but it was amazing!
We will certainly be back to try out some new dishes, or just to enjoy the same ones all over again. Thank you for a great meal, Nile Restaurant!

An awesome place to eat with great customer service and delicious food. I highly recommend the goat the sauce is absolutely amazing. A hidden gem in Sioux city. The vibe is so different. It’s giving a wholly unique experience. Just go in and ask what’s available the portions are great.

My sister and I stopped there for some food and to check out the market part. They had a good amount of supplies but we were very disappointed with the menu. There was a full menu listed complete with pictures of the dishes. The guys watched us take a few minutes to figure out what we wanted and after we told them our orders they informed us all the had available is coconut chicken and a lamb dish. The food in the warmer on the counter looked old we just left.

A no-frills place to eat Egyptian/Somali food. The food is tasty, the rice is delicious, the goat was good albeit a bit dry. They were shot in ingredients and there was only 1 item available on the menu which was a bummer. I think trying again with fresher ingredients it’ll be better and tastier.

They don’t sell sambusa at all. A worker just told me that. I’m guessing it’s wheel people in to try their food. The environment isn’t clean. We’re not outside in the dirt you have a building your rent and should keep it up to par!!!!

I got goat and rice today. So good! Portion was huge, relatively cheap, and full of flavor!

If food poisoning ran a restaurant, this would be it. Filthy. Their menu was small with 9 things on it, but they only had enough supply to make only 2 of those items. Their samosas looked like they’ve been in the warmer since they opened. And all you could hear was somebody hacking away at something in back.
