I had a good time. I’ve just been at better Mexican places before though. Our waiter was amazing.
The tortilla chips don’t seem to be fried in-house. They’re a thicker chip. Not the best tortilla chips.
The salsa was interesting! It was, dare I say, more mesquite? Less tomato forward and more pepper forward.
Food came out within 10-15 mins. I think the beans had white sauce but they use shredded cheese too. Not bad. The chimichanga did have an audible crunch but still below average.
The salad didn’t have sour cream and/or guacamole, which I prefer in a side salad.
Overall I enjoyed the dish, but it just felt like how American cheese is to normal sharp cheddar cheese. It felt “round,” fatty, and slightly bland.
Their tortilla my friend got was pretty good.
I went an hour before closing and they didn’t have Mexican music playing :/ just silence
They have Mexican Coke and Jarritos.

I just had lunch here with a friend.
I always forget to snap a photo of my meal. But I can definitely say that I always love their carne asada super nachos. These super nachos come in a generous serving with all the right toppings, served warm so you can dive right in. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly and nice. Of course, I feel a bit guilty that I don’t speak Spanish, as it would allow me to chat with them more .

Honestly I go to Hispanic food as a first option always love to support locals but this carnitas fries was cold, overly expensive and I didn’t finish them and I was no able to change it they can do better

I ordered the Super Fries and ordered them with Carnitas. I personally didnt like it. The Carnitas were shredded and deep fried. (Not what i expected) I was thinking that they were going to be left in their chunk form. (I normally love carnitas)
So they were pretty toasty, dried and crunchy.
I shouldnt have ordered Carnitas. I should’ve just stayed with beef or chicken.
Lesson learned.

However, this Guac had tons of Onions. So many onions!! It just ruined it for me.
By now, I’ve lost my appetite.
I would go back and order again just not Carnitas with my Super Fries and NO GUAC for me.

Ordered three birria tacos, queso and chips, and asked for two cups of consommé. The tacos are absolutely disgusting. Soaking wet, barely any meat on them, thrown together with actual hardened pieces of white grease in them even. Queso was overly salty too. Worst meal I’ve ever had. I have ordered from them before and didn’t have an issue but will not be going back after this.

One of the few places still offering great value for what you get. I’m always stuffed after the super fries. Keep in mind the menu shown online isn’t updated items are cheaper than shown there.
UPDATE: menu prices have gone up since time of review, so decided to leave menu pics up to show what is available. I would just add a buck or so to the prices for an approximate idea of costs. Inflation needs to go away. Still an awesome place to grab something to eat.

This is not carnitas. This is grill scrapings. Ordered the carnitas here 4-5 times and was always enjoying full chunks of pork shoulder crisped up on the grill. Quality has gone downhill almost every time we’ve ordered. This combined with an 82 health score means no more Arcos for a while. This location was great when it was Abelardos, shame to see the quality drop this far. 3 stars because I HAVE had a good meal from here before.

I order the “gorditas” , I’m gladly surprised, the flavor is authentic, I’ll be back to try something else but, easily I’d order more gorditas. Authentic Mexican flavor. Don’t go with the atmosphere, it may need some work but go for the food.
