My daughter and soon to be husband, love carne asada fries and carne asada nachos, and in their traveling to LA, Long Beach, and SanDiego, they are always looking for the best tasting food where ever they go, and the best one just happens to be close to home.
The Mojarro Fish meal is my favorite meal of all time, I have tried some of the best restaurants in town, and after eating this dish three seperate times here, all I can say it is cooked to perfection.
All the staff are awesome, friendly, and helpful, and the prices are great too! Check them out, you will love their food too!
Seemed annoyed that we were even there and were already cleaning up the salsa bar like they were closing soon. I even double checked their hours just because I thought maybe we were being rude by eating there soon to closing but we weren’t. We ordered a carne asada burrito with bean and cheese and then carne asada fries. The burrito was okay but dripped about an 1/8th of a cup of oil out. The oil was also on the fries but not as noticeable since it could soak in.
The food is just okay but my biggest complaint is the quality of the carne asada. This place is charging just as much as our favorite mexican restaurant just down the road on sanderson and devonshire yet is using carne asada that resembles ground beef. I wouldn’t come back.
I highly recommend this place.
Update: 3/14/2025
Came back ordered a combination plate of enchilada and beef hard shell taco delicious and filling. The beef was very juicy which is surprising for a hard shell taco.
We ordered fish taco (good fish too much sauce )
5 rolled taquitos Amazing! This is our new fast Mexican restaurant.
I ordered the Carne Asada meal combo and it was absolutely outstanding. They packed in so much carne asada that it was practically overflowing from the container. The rice and beans were full of authentic flavor, and the tortillas were massive — definitely worth it, even at $1.50 each. I also asked for their hottest hot sauce, and it delivered with blazing heat, just the way I like it.
This place is a hidden gem in Hemet. If you love carne asada, you won’t be disappointed — the meal is generous, flavorful, and honestly one of the best deals around. Highly recommend!
