If you go here for nothing else go for the happy hour burger, and make it a double. We went two days in a row because it was so good. The service is attentive. But you’re going to remember the burger sauce and how it compliments the perfectly cooked patties. Smashed until crispy but not until well done. I just wish I lived closer and I would go once a week. Their playlist is also fantastic.

i was looking for a really good burger near vail… i found it! this place was just awesome. so flavorful and perfectly crispy but tender. the fries are definitely a shareable size so that was also very nice! we had a very sweet server and the inside of the restaurant was such a vibe. dress up or down! more on the expensive side but for the area the price wasn’t too bad. highly recommend plus there were more menu items i wanted to try so i will be back 🙂

This place is awesome! Great food, great service and a nice ambiance. It’s a great spot after a hike or for a nice lunch. Highly recommend the poke bowl. They have gluten free bread for sandwiches.

T smashburger was on point, the wings need a little work. A little soggy with no crispiness. Service was excellent except that when we were being seated the entire restaurant was empty except for one table which we got set right next to. Definitely don’t do that.
He got cocktails during happy hour which were the old fashioned and Margarita. Margarita was made with a premix which I never recommend. Always needs to be fresh squeeze lime. That being said, the old fashioned was perfect. Stirred not shaken. Nice.

Fantastic food found at Craftsman! This establishment has moved slightly from its original location, but is still in the same general area of Edwards Riverwalk Roundabout. It was easy to find and there is plenty of parking in the plaza. I enjoyed grabbing food here for lunch recently when I was visiting the area, and tried the Oven Roasted Tomato Soup, Hot Chicken Sandwich, and the Schmidt Mac. Everything was flavorful and hit the spot after I had a morning hike. The food was really good and inventive! The menu had a nice variety and was priced as you would expect for being close to a ski town.
Service was ok until we needed the check. Our table had been cleared and we were trying to flag down our waiter to ask for the check, but he was busy attending to other tables. We were able to get the attention of the manager on duty, who came over and made some rude remark to us because we were gesturing for the check. He gave us the mobile POS device so that we could be on our way, however we could have done without the nasty attitude. I have never encountered something like this coming from a “manager”.
I’m not expecting a manager to make small talk with the table, but being rude and having an attitude towards customers is inexcusable. It doesn’t matter how great the food is – customer service is what people remember! There are plenty of other places in town for locals and visitors alike to spend money for a tasty lunch or dinner, a manager with a bad attitude will never fly in my opinion. I’m a fan of the food here at Craftsman, and it was some of the best tasting food I had while visiting, but the customer service needs to match the excellence of the food. Another thing to keep in mind is that on the menu it mentions a 5% surcharge will be added to all checks to support the staff, and you can let the staff know if you would like it removed, something to be aware of when it comes to calculating the tip. I wish the owners success with this larger location, but who wants to go back to a place and spend money where the staff is rude, certainly not me.

I’m a longtime local and was really excited to try Craftsman for the first time. I’ll start by saying the burger was fantastic. It was really well cooked and the special sauce made it great. The Nashville Hot chicken sandwich however was overcooked and extremely dry. It was unfortunately, incredibly disappointing. The parmesan fries looked great but were a bit cold so not awesome. Our server barely checked in us, so none of this was able to be communicated. We also noticed a special on our way out that we would have definitely gotten instead but didn’t even know about it. Not sure I’ll be back

Ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. Chicken was over cooked and dry! The small hamburger bun the put it on is too small so it litterally falls apart trying to eat. For the price of sandwich you dont even get a side dish with it. Sides cost extra. French fries suck. Tried a Amber Ale. Beer sucked for $9!!!! I gotta say this is the first time and last time here! Took a while before our waiter even came over to our table and it was only 25% busy……save your money and appetite for some where else. Was a waist of $$$$ and time!! Over priced like everyone is a millionaire! Dirty water glasses, Spots all over! Waitress never checked on us or asked how the food was. Shitty service! Oh and none of the cooks wore gloves so definately cross contamination going on. Hope we dont get sick. Ate half my poor sandwich and didnt want to finish. Also says 5% kitchen surcharge optional. They add it in your bill! I gave $40 cash to pay for the $35.86 bill and was given back $4. Wheres my 14cents…. should have been $4.14 back. They are definately into Ripping you off too!!! Bathrooms were as dirty as a jobsite porta john!!!

Inspirational Guy
Can I give you a 10?? Sat at the bar and watched Chef and crew manage the rush. It was so much fun as an aspiring home cook. The food was delicious! Tomato bisque aaaaamazing!! , hot chicken- which was soooo hot (ghost chili or something I believe) balanced out perfectly with the slaw. Parm fries. Parm to plate hahaha….This was the best way to start my anniversary vacation with my beautiful bride. Glad we live I. The area. We’ll be back for sure!

Husband and I split the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the meat lovers pizza. Both were bomb. Our friends got the fish tacos and a smash burger and they had great reviews of their food as well. Loved the open kitchen concept and ambiance of the place. For sure going to go again when we come back!
