The owner Hadi was a true pleasure to speak with. He’s been here for 45 years! The mushroom omelette was absolutely delicious and the ambiance is that of an old school diner. Will come back for sure!!

Old school neighborhood diner joint. My type of place. No bells and whistles just humble hole in the wall type spot.

Family run hole in the wall. Very filling. Breakfast spot with beer on tap. Looking for the hair of the dog? Look no further. Calm and great diner food.

This was the cheapest diner breakfast I’ve had in the DC area…ever. Reminded me of the diners back home in Upstate NY. Two breakfast entrees were $6ish each. The coffee was weak but not bitter. The pancakes were underwhelming, the sausage was surprisingly awesome. The eggs were…eggs. If you’re looking for a cheap breakfast, maybe go here!

I liked this place. Definitely taste like a homemade meal. The service was great and the food was very homelike. It’s a really great diner spot, and the prices are just too good to be true. I got 2 meals, and it almost came out to $20. It’s definitely a hidden gem. Keep it up!

Over the years, this place has gotten worse in customer service, prices, and they are not willing to invest in check out technology at the cashier’s level. The employees work 7 days a week and they are usually tired and cranky thus providing terrible customer service. Sad to see these ladies being overworked there and no improvements in the store.

Found this neighborhood gem after Googling best delis. Tasty, fresh, Turkey Club and krinkle cut fries for less than $10. Owner and locals very friendly, sit at the counter and engage in conversation or grab a table and watch TV. I’ll be back. Think Norm from Cheers if you’re that old.
**Update** After coming here every day since I found the place I am forced to modify my review. Less than half of the menu items are available and they are in desperate need of a new cook. The Cook comes and goes as he pleases whether orders are waiting or not. Sometimes he wears gloves when he prepares your food most times not. I stand by the friendly atmosphere but anything more than a basic sandwich and fries maybe problematic. So unfortunate.
