Our server was so amazing and sweet. We knew it was late (I manage at a restaurant and hate to be late my dumdum boyfriend doesn’t pay attention) and even tho it was closing she cared so much for us and made sure we were ok right away service and bi lingual she was amazing (at Wayne location 2/26/25 10pm) the only female server on the floor w the bartender she is a beautiful grace for the restaurant and business

I like that I was attended in time, cool place with vibrant colors, love their outdoor place too. Having less vegetarian options, but tortillas are fresh and I like my drink how it was presented. Delicious food with special request of veggies and offered special tequila shots with watermelon flavor.

Quite frankly we came here for the great reviews but it was a disappointing visit. Food had obsoletely no flavor, when I mean no flavor I mean it tasted like paper. The drinks and the atmosphere were good but you can tell it wasn’t a great place just because how dead the restaurant. Save your money in this economy, the cherry on top was the 20% gratuity slapped on top even though the service was the bare minimum.

Incredible spot. We’ve come here once every couple months for the past 2 years and have never been disappointed. They recently renovated the bar so no matter what night you show up you have an incredible seat. It was a slow-ish night tonight and they had one of the top 10 movies of all time playing!! Jonathan was the best bartender we’ve ever had and The Prestige is the best TV we’ve ever seen at a bar.
Highly recommend the top shelf margarita, but also make sure to go as spicy as you can. Tamarind has a nice sweetess on top of the heat. Of course, street tacos are also legit. This is a shockingly good spot for how tucked away it is. Go every night!!!

Great from the moment we walked in. We decided to sit at the bar. Which was the best decision we made. Vanessa was the most pleasant bartender i have ever had. Her margarita is one of the best ive had. She made great suggestions. She was super friendly and attentive. Shes a rockstar!!! Food and drinks amazing.

I would like to start off by saying, I have been here one time in July 2022, for a birthday brunch on a Sunday. We sat at the bar. Our experience was incredibly different. I ordered the birria tacos and churros. Both came out hot fresh flavorful and everything that was desired and expected. The bartender was busy but attentive and responsive. Went there today… same place…. Totally different experience. It was active, many tables dining however not packed. We got seated right away, the host was very pleasant and inviting. The ambiance is beautiful, colorful,and traditional. The menu is diverse. The waitress immediately brought out chips and salsa and asked for our drink order. The chips were cold but not bad and the salsa was a bit on the spicier side but tasty. We ordered the margarita flight and immediately… I am confused. It does not specify on the menu how many drinks you get, however in pictures from other patrons you get four flavors with description written on the board. We did not get that. We got three mystery flavors plus an empty shot glass and a mini bottle. Still fun… but not what we expected. So we played guess the flavor. We got pineapple, strawberry and passionfruit. They were all delicious, I got the passionfruit margarita on the rocks, full size after. I highly recommend it. We ordered the ceviche. I was so excited for this. It was a massive disappointment. It was missing the calamari and the octopus, loaded with onions. They were kind enough to remove it from the bill for us. The queso with chorizo was described as queso dip with chorizo on top. That is not what we received, it was mostly chorizo with some queso. I would not typically mind, however, it was hard to eat and it took so long to come out. Additionally, because there was so much chorizo, the chip could not hold it and would break. The chorizo overpowered the small amount of cheese. It was not the ooey gooey cheese dip we read on the menu. The Parrillada sounded phenomenal. It was not. The steak was burnt and so dry. The chicken was okay. The pork chop was inedible. The shrimp were rubbery and way overdone. For some reason today, they could not add chimichurri sauce to it. They did not have calamari or flan. Maybe we came on an off day or they had a vendor issue. The service today was so incredibly slow. We ordered the churros and they arrived cold and really not that great. I had a hard time rating Jalapeños Mexican Grill because the first time was great and today was terrible. The host did come with two shots of tequila and apologized for the lack of availability. I will have to come back again to see if today was a weird experience or if they really are like this all the time.
