We arrived early in the morning and enjoyed a great breakfast of omelettes with chorizo and green sauce (hot) and red sauce (spicy). The one pancake was large and about 1/2 inch thick and covered a plate. Server was very friendly and helpful. Great service and situated along historic Route 66.

Food old café with authentic NM hatch chile everything. Staff was very friendly and nice. The Navajo Taco really good and spicy. The chile relleno was good but the rice not so much. Is worth a stop for quick NM confort food.

A sweet little local favorite. Very affordable. Lots of staff on hand and great prices. Parking is tough. The red and green Chiles are made into sauces. Not what I expected as I thought they would be chopped like other NM places. Rice bland beans great.

Not tourist friendly. Like many local restaurants in Gallup they overcharge or surprise tourists with insane extra charges like $2.95 for a tiny side of sauce with a $12 taco meal. They should put these prices in the menu or tell the customer in advance, but they don’t and won’t remove it even if politely called out. Scamming tourists the Gallup way.

Service was fantastic, friendly and food was great! We had the Combination Plate Beef Taco, Beef Tamale and Onion & Cheese Enchilada with Red Chili Sauce and the Navajo Taco with Red Chili Sauce. You want authentic, come here! Highly recommend making a stop, it’s worth it. Food was well seasoned, great portion size and reasonably priced.

I was there 30 mins ago with my friend after deciding to trust the reviews and we have our doubts that the 5 star reviews must have been bought or that they created 500 accounts. We had a combination plate and it is very very rare that we leave the whole plate cause it was disgusting. Disgusting might even be a compliment but I can’t find a worse word. If you don’t wanna ruin your palate and holiday don’t go. Also sign up to Hell’s Kitchen.

If you’re traveling thru Gallup you need to check this spot out on Rte 66. Portions are huge, if you leave hungry that’s on you. I had the Combination Plate with red/green (Christmas), the green was extra hot and the red had lots of flavor. Very good food, service and atmosphere.
